SYNOPSIS: The Mario Bros. are on easy street after their recent victory over the tyrant Bowser and rescue of Princess Peach...or so it would seem (INTRIGUE!). The wealthy and powerful Gerudo entrepreneur Ganondorf has recently discovered the location of the rumored Triforce, using his enhanced abilities to take over Nintendo HQ and begin implementing his nefarious business plans for the future...a future of darkness and despair for all who reside within Nintendo's worlds (PLOT!). Zelda quickly dispatches the mysterious warrior Sheik to bring the hopeless and inept Link to the Mario Bros. residence for training, for prophecy states only he can defeat the dark lord himself (TEAM UP!). Riddled with nerdy references spanning all sorts of needless and random areas, Die Zwei Brüder 2 features a slew of popular and beloved Nintendo characters thrown together for good or for ill.

This movie is a labor of love that is also a sequel to a german class final project (hence the foreign language and subtitles). It features appearances from several of Nintendo's many genres, with Samus Aran having a role to play in the events to come (studded out in armor only a college student could buy...meaning it's pretty hokey. And pretty awesome because it's pretty hokey).

At least watch part 1. If it's not your cup of tea, no worries, although a lot of work has gone into the amateur effort posted and much love would be appreciated. It's definitely a film made for people who love video games and movies. And Star Wars. And pretty much every other thing under the sun.


The movie picks up in the Nintendoverse right after the party scene, so don't let its apparent oddness dispel you from witnessing the glory within. Also, any and all comments are more than welcome here!
