You can cancel out a Quad's top-o-doom attack by boosting into them.
This stuns them and reveals their weak point. The one you hit for massive damage.

I take out their heads with a Super Missile first, so I don't have to deal with their Light/Dark shields.

I remember dying in the fight with the Pirates on the bridge leading into the Santuary Fortress the first time I did it.

I got raped by Rezbits. On Hard Mode, I still get fucked over if I try to ignore them in every instance I can think of.

On my last Hard Mode run, I somehow managed to die to the Alpha Splinter. More than once. I don't know what was wrong with me then.

Since we all seem to be 'fessing up about our ineptitude I think it only fair that I mention my recent experience with MP: Corruption. Basically I decided to replay this on veteran mode after just beating Other:M. I was basically flying through the game until I got to the security robot when you get the boost ball upgrade and I just struggled like hell to beat the mother, tried for well over an hour and failed every time ending up with serious cramp of the trigger finger. After flinging the Wiimote across the room I went and did something else and came back to the game 24 hours later. This time I managed to beat the guy 1st time but it still took me 10+ mins of gradually chipping away at his health. I then went on to beat Ghor without breaking sweat and had no trouble with Mogenar earlier in the game - two bosses who I seriously struggled with when playing normal mode first time round - weird eh? O_O

got to the seed dude with the red areas in hypermode..was pain in my butt. 5 health tanks was too little..but thats as meny as you can get. went on to beat robo man no sweet. cant wait to see how hard the other seeds are.

My first attempt at Mogenar clocked in at one hour...for just destroying the first orb. reason being i had never used the wiimote before, no excuse but still very sad face

Mine were the Omega Pirate, mogenar, Boost Guardian, and Spider Guardian.

Mogenar was a tough boss but the rest were too easy

Oh, yeah! One more! The first time I fought Gandrayda. It was the third part of the battle and she shoved me into the area with Acid Rain. UGH. I saw my health practically disappearing and before I could saw "what the hell?", I died.

because of the other moving parts on kraid are his head, fingers and feet he jumped into his arms in such a way that he kept getting bounced into the same part allowing him to do that

First time i was up against the omega pirate i spent an entire weekend with no success. I just couldnt get the sucker down. Eventually i got bored and put the game back in the shelf got back a few months later and got him down on second try.

Did I say this before? 'Cause I don't remember ever posting in this topic before. Oh well, here goes.

When I first played Prime, I had helluva time with Meta-Ridley. Took me countless attempts to finally defeat him. Afterwards, when I played the game on hard mode, I took him out on my first try. -_-;

And Mogenar...no clue that I had to hit keep hitting those red orbs >.>
Thought it was some kind of bomb slot so I was like 'WTF' when trying to get in.
