Oh yeah...Tidus dies, but in X-2, he came back IF you were able to obtain that secret ending.

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryI don't really care about Final Fantasy X, but for the sake of those who do and who haven't played it, it might be a good idea to mark those spoilers.

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryUmm, FFX, Sly Cooper 2
when Bentley's legs were broken and Murray left the team.
And Kingdom Hearts II (mainly from the epicness of the ending), Halo 3 (if you don't stick around for after the credits), Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, OoT, and the big one:
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. That whole damn game was sad, what with
Terra dying and Xehanort becoming him, Ventus going into the "coma", etc.
![]() |

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryI never cried in a game, nor did i tear up in a game. Why? Because i made a deal with this guy.
However, a few games got me a bit emotional: The last half-hour of Twilight Princess, the last cutscene of Other M (The one were Samus gives Adam a
Thumbs up
, and, saddest of all, the baby Metroid. The ending to Super Metroid was the biggest twist iv'e seen in any form of media! ![]()

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryBy the way, there's also a [spoiler2] tag which you can use, if you don't want to break in the middle of your line. For example, here is a spoiler which is part of the same line.

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryI forgot to add one more: Other M. That certain cutscene near the end of the game. You all know the one. That shit was epic-cry worthy. I bawled for a good two minutes.

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cry
Yeah, I know what you mean; I came close to crying when I thought Ridley had killed Anthony too. |
|
Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryI cried when Ridley's upper jaw was the same length as his lower jaw.
Which reminds me, I'm not actually sure what scene you were referring to, Azure. Who would expect Metroid: Other M to borrow concepts from Super Princess Peach?

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryI don't think I've ever actually cried in a game. The ending of A Link to the Past made my eyes a little watery, though. Although it is a bit weird, since the ending isn't really sad.

That was a Tear Jerker? I'm just glad he's on the express elevator to HELL! |

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cry
Heh. You know, even if you don´t agree with me about the many things wrong with that scene and the buildup to it (which you are entitled to), I don´t get how that scene could be a tearjerker. Adam just wasn´t a very endearing character. I guess I could understand you being sad for Samus´ sake, since she was quite distraught over it. But that´s about it. |

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you crySamus' reaction was really what I meant, considering you knew what'd happen.
