How are we all doing? (For the record, I am still at 12 words, and am finding it hard to be anywhere close to excited about NaNo this year.)

For those that actually are on track, and even for those of us who are not, here is a good article about when the plot runs away from you and you get hopelessly stuck. If anything, there are funny pictures of 50s pulp sci-fi novels interspersed.

Sigh. I think once I get through the boring introductory stuff maybe, just maybe, it'll pick up, but I dunno.

I finally started!

So far it's AWFUL, and I'm about 400 words. I have the barest bones of a plot so we'll see what happens.
