Did you add my code? It still shows you as 'Awaiting Registration' on my end. Maybe it'll be necessary to re-add the codes.

I already did that, only a few people( though including you) have showed up properly. There seems to be some trouble with the registering.

Spoilers, but none that haven't been mentioned already.
I played at my cousins' this weekend, but they don't have everyone unlocked yet. I didn't play as R.O.B., Diddy Kong, Snake, Lucas, or Olimar (I looked on Dojo, and Wolf isn't even listed, what's up with that?!) I thought MetaKnight was ok, although I don't like how heavy he is, or the fact that his jumps are so sissy (he's got WINGS, for crying out loud!) but over all, I thought he was good. Pit was pretty good too. Probably one of my better new characters. I like the fact that his Up-B goes so high; saved my ass more than once. Dedede was WAY too slow, much more so than MetaKnight. I didn't like that a bit. Pokemon Trainer was ok, but I was actually expecting to fight as the trainer, not one of the Pokemon. Squirtle is far and away my best, but then again, I value speed much more than power. Although I will say it was pretty sweet to fight as Charizard. Sonic was cool, although he was, dare I say, almost too fast. Made it difficult to control him sometimes, but overall I was pleased. He has a very good moveset. Finally, I've come to what could be one of my new favorite characters: Lucario. I didn't like Mewtwo in Melee. I thought he was too slow for as psychically powerful as he is. I like Lucario's movements much better. He's quick, easy to control, and has almost the same moves as Mewtwo. I LOVE Lucario's Final Smash, it's so fun (reminiscent of the Kamehameha from Dragonball Z ) I've got to say, they did a very good job on Lucario.
Peace

I think they're saving him for last. He was the last character I unlocked as you have to (spoilers?) beat Subspace or just play a bunch of matches...

Spoilers in post.
Yeah, Wolf will be one of the last characters most people unlock, so the Dojo will probably reveal him last. Speaking of the Dojo, their last post is wrong, isn’t it? Jiggly unlocks at 350 matches, I think, and Toon Link at 400. Lucario isn’t really that much like Mewtwo to me, except Shadow Ball/Aura Sphere.
You expected to play as the trainer? Have you been avoiding smash sites for fear of spoilers or something? Out of curiousity, what would his moves be? In the games, they never really fight, they have Pokémon do it.

Well, I really never visited the sites, because it wasn't relevant to me. No Wii, no prospects of getting to play, you see.

Well obviously you had a prospect, since you have played, and you must have visited some site some time, since you knew the character was in.
The question was not rhetorical, though: what would you have expected his moveset to be?

You can unlock Wolf by beating boss battle with Fox or Falco. I unlocked him before Jiggly and Toon Link.
Wolf is awesome. I thought that his up B was only straight up, but it happens that his charge is so fast it's hard to aim. Wolf Illusion(is that how it is called?) is much better than Fox's or Falco's for recovery. And his pistol rules. Great F-Smash.
Lucario is even more awesome. Something about he getting stronger as his damage increases... 300% Brawls are Lucario's peak. His neutral B is great, specially for people who like Samus, like most of us. His forward B isn't very good, but is useful. His down B is ridiculously great is timed right. Excellent F-Smash.
I use Samus a lot due to her EXTREME SUPER POWERFUL F-SMASH.
Actually I find Sonic very fast. I just didn't play much with him when I said that.

Final Smash: Pokéball Throw: The trainer gets a bunch of Pokéballs and captures all the fighters!!

(Spoilers, but I'm sure you guys have figured that out. Heck, we should just slap it on the thread title).

It all depends on what you play first.
I agree, Wolf is pretty good. I don't think his recovery charge is very fast really. It's a good thing it's no slower, or someone would be able to hit you before you could do anything (they still do sometimes though). The side dash (> B) is cool because it's unpredictable. It's fun to hit people who think they are safe from your moves. Generally it's kind of useless though; it doesn't fling people anywhere and does relatively low damage compared to his other moves. F-smash is actually defined in the game (his Final Smash trophy says this) as more powerful than both Fox and Falco's landmasters. The only drawback is it's shorter (timewise). That's fine for me, as like I said it's enough time for me to kill everyone twice

The only mention of Pokemon Trainer I heard was from this site (I didn't pay much attention, only noted he was included.) and some other source, not on the internet. I can't remember where though. I want to say Nintendo Power, but we haven't had a subscription in a couple of years. I really can't remember for certain. AMetroidGuy wrote:The question was not rhetorical, though: what would you have expected his moveset to be?
Quite honestly, I'm not sure. Probably the usual punch/kick moves that pretty much every character was given. I mean, let's face it. You can't punch or kick as Kirby in those games (although you can do that awesome sword throw thing! ) You never even see Captain Falcon in F-Zero for SNES, which before my first experience with Super Smash Bros. on N64 was my only exposure to the character. I did figure that he'd be able to use Pokeballs, but I'm not sure how this would be implemented (as far as items, or controllable characters, and how fast he can use them, whether or not he'd have to call the current Pokemon back before sending out another one, etc.)
As I said before, I really didn't hold out any expectations to play any time soon, so I really hadn't thought out what I expected from the game as far as the new characters and such.

To be brutally honest, i hate playing with snake, he has the coolest attacks (NINTENDO VIOLENCE!!!!! LAWLZ!) but he is way to slow and heavy. I do good with R.O.B., mainly because of his awesome recovery move, plus his bouncing laser. Olimar is very new style wise, he relies heavily on pikmin and to bee successfull with himn you must be able to find time to pluck pikmin.
To be honest I was dissapointed with Wolf, yea, he is good, but he's another clone, I was, (dont laugh too hard), expecting Peppy as the new guy, after all who could deny the fact it would be AWESOME for Peppy to grab a smash ball and repeatedly shout "DO A BARREL ROLL!!!" and cause all the characters to spin around helplessly as he torments them.

The idea behind the 'clones' is that each has a different weight, size, and special attacks; this way people can find the one that suits them best. I don't have too much of a problem with "clones" as long as they vary in the above ways. Wolf is the largest and heaviest Star Fox character, yet he is the smallest on the screen because of how he hunches over. So, he's harder to hit and knock off. Also, the variation in his moves makes him more powerful but more risky than his counterparts. I love playing with what Sakurai calls a "high risk, high return" fighting style.

Sigh... I've been playing as Ike alot lately. The only reason I can't commit more to him is because he fights for his friends.
Seriously, that's the lamest winning clip they've made so far.

Yep, ive realised now that olimar is the new Ness, needs skill to use bu very rewarding....
Oh, yeah, in responce to Kraid Raid, Captain falcon had a TV show in which he battled villains and raced, as the epic fanale he leaps from his blue falcon at his arch nemisis and screams FALCOOOON PAUUUNCH!!! as his hand sets ablaze and obliterates his rival and himself in the blow and causes the universe to erupt in an explosion of light and color as the utter power of the falcon punch scatters across deep space,
R.I.P captain falcon, he gave his life to save the universe.
Which leads to WHY ISNT FALCON PUNCH HIS FINAL SMASH???!!!
