Re: What was the last movie you watched?Predators
Chasing Sleep Sudden Manhattan Intermission Chain of Fools Bananas In regards to Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: I think it is a great movie, but I find it impossible to bring myself to say it's anything better than just 'great.' I could easily find myself watching it again and again, and enjoying it every time; but something just seems a bit... off with it. The pacing was too fast, yet at the same time too slow. The actors were great, even Micheal Cera. The different-from-the-comic ending was perfectly fine. Maybe it has to do with some of the best lines and overall parts of the comic being left out (understandable since the last book was released after the movie was basically in the can). Maybe it was the abridged nature of the film. Maybe it would have been better if it was a two-parter. I don't know, it is a great movie and all, but my feelings for it are just a bit hollow. That makes me a little sad. ![]() X-Ray Scope Acquired! |

Re: What was the last movie you watched?
Part unemployment, part love of watching movies, part incredible ability to multi-task, part Netflix. (Though, I still find the time to watch just as many movies when employed.) Interesting side note: When I play console games, I tend to set up a secondary TV or my laptop so that I can still watch stuff while playing games. Been doing that since the SNES era. With that said, I'm about to have watched The Expendables. Just waitin' for Seinfeld to end. ![]() X-Ray Scope Acquired! |

Re: What was the last movie you watched?I watched The Social Network Tuesday. I liked it a lot, will be talked about in my blog. Now I only have to watch Harry Potter, Narnia and TRON this month on theaters. After that, I have a ton of DVDs, Blu-rays and downloads to view.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?I'm gonna be watching Narnia sometime soon. Tomorrow, hopefully. I'm trying to get Scott Pilgrim on DVD then.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?I went to see Narnia the other night. It was pretty good. I really need to read those books again.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?I found The Expendables rather enjoyable. In fact, I liked it a lot more than I was expecting to. My main gripe about it was the horrible lack of Bruce Willis. I mean, he only had, like, one scene! Come on! It also furthered my man-love for Jason Statham.
