Re: Metroid Music - What's your favorite!?Super - Red Brinstar
Prime - Phendrana Echoes - Dark Torvus Bog Corruption - Elysia Other M - Approaching Sector Zero I also like all the general music too, but those go without saying. Even the strongest of people can have their faith broken. Mine has.

Re: Metroid Music - What's your favorite!?After downloading the soundtrack to Other M, I found that there's some pretty good tunes on it. It turns out once you take away the Other M, you get a whole lot of Metroid. If you get what I'm saying.
I personally liked the Lower Norfair remix in Magmoor Caverns. Really easy to hum to. I also love Kraid's hideout theme. And the Super boss theme. The Tunnel's pretty awesome too. I guess I love them all equally. ![]() |

Re: Metroid Music - What's your favorite!?My favorite has always been Brinstar: Overgrown with Vegetation from Super, although the Metroid II main cave theme and Metroid Prime menu them are also very good.

Re: Metroid Music - What's your favorite!?
I can't find any good ones among all of them, but that's because there's so many tracks. Mind suggesting a few gems? Suckers.

Re: Metroid Music - What's your favorite!?Any of the battle music or the piano medley. Those are the best, and most intense (not in the piano medley's case obviously). The boss themes, and one of my favorites is Anthony's Cover Fire (the theme after Anthony blasts El Polo Loco), and Chasing the Survivor (theme of the over-the-shoulder sequence with Melissa.). The real issue is, most of them are repititive, but if you listen carefully, there are some subtle differences in the background music. Not to mention, a lot of the music is composed of enviromental sound effects, so it's hard to pick out some medleys. Also, I've noticed that the Sector 1 theme in M:OM is the same as the one in Fusion. I dunno if anyone else has noticed this, because I haven't seen it posted.

Re: Metroid Music - What's your favorite!?Any of Metroid Prime's music could count, but Meta Ridley's theme wins just by how awesome it is. Ridley's theme in SM comes a close second. |

Re: Metroid Music - What's your favorite!?
The problem seems to be that the good tracks from the game weren't ones playing during boss battles or levels, so there wasn't enough time to listen. Still, PYR... Er, I mean, Sector 3, had some nice ambience. Very creepy. Suckers.

Re: Metroid Music - What's your favorite!?Oh yeah, a lot of them are like that (well, non-battle themes).

Re: Metroid Music - What's your favorite!?Anything from MP2 (I love that game.
)but I have to pick by song then...SkyTown West is my favorite song though because it is so peaceful and atmospheric. At a close second is the quadraxis theme, then Gandrayda's theme, and finally I like Kraid's lair. Sent from my iPod
