That would be AWESOME! In North American versions, we could replace Gravity Boots with the identical "Jesus Boots!" I was also thinking of a Morph Ball racing game starring Dark Samus. And probably a few other Hunters' alt-forms. Boogity, Boogity, Boogity, LET'S GO METROID RACING!!! Speed Booster Sprints (Circuit, Slalom, Hydro) Boost Ball Battles (Drag Race, Tricks (Half pipe, popping out of Morph Ball and doing tricks before going back into Morph Ball to redo the half-pipe with another Boost.)) Spider Ball Scaling (see who can navigate the maze, solve the puzzles, etc. in Spider Ball) TAE KWON OVERBLAST!!!

Here's a fave quote to respond. Bart Simpson wrote: "Time to lay some rubber down!"

^EDIT: Fixed User=Drana's incorrect Quote tags. lol, Boost Ball Guardian was a bitch. Your health is being SAPPED OUT OF YOU. He keeps ramming you. I used to call him "Death on Arrival." And I was thinking using him in the races, not the battles. (though Mario Kart style, you would have Missiles, Plasma Beams, etc. as powerups.)

Oops, fucked up the quotes. Boost Guardian is tough, but the Spider Guardian actually gave me more problems. As for the topic. I don't know, can't really think of one, I guess it would be cool to have something like the gravity boost in Echoes except you could use it on land as well as in the water.

OK, I first read this subject as "Make-up [as] a powerup" and thought, 'Wow, this sexism thing has gotten out of hand." I'm gonna have to give this one more thought.

You're not the first to think of this suit. See here. I've thought of it a long time ago, but it only negates the effects of spacetime manipulation. It would have a steam/clockpunk design. For example, where the crests are on her shoulder pads, it would be a gear. metroid composite wrote:Heat Visor: Burns enemies or objects Samus focuses on.
This is another idea I had in mind, but I didn't call it Heat Visor. Probably Beam Visor. I thought it would be cool for Samus to have a visor like this, though. It would definitely catch her enemies off guard, especially if any of them ever leaped on top of her. Aside from the Chrono Suit, here are a few of my ideas. Grapple BallThe Grapple Ball allows Samus to use the Grapple Beam while she is in the Morph Ball mode. Pulse BeamThe Pulse Beam is based off the pulse cannon in Phazon Mines. Its start-up is delayed, but it fires a powerful beam. By delayed start-up, I mean that it's auto-charged. Super-Charge BeamIt acts like the Charge Beam, but the beam that is fired out is much more powerful, and the tractor beam is increased. Tacho BoosterThis allows Samus to move at superluminous speeds.

Carrier Grapple: Allows Samus to use her Grapple Beam to fireman-carry objects, people, etc. If the person you're carrying is armed, he can fire behind you to hit that enemy on your six. WARNING: Screw Attack, Space Jump, Spin Jump, and Grapple are unavailable while carrying something.
Aerial Drones: Samus collects these along her travels. She starts with three (each armed with the same weapons she is, minus Missiles) but can collect Drone Docks to further her drone carry abilities. These can serve as portable Grapple Points, form up around Samus and form an ad hoc shield, become remote cameras, attack the currently selected target(s), or be set to autonomous mode. Should one be destroyed (friendly fire is possible with this system), it automatically docks, where only Save Points, Drone Repair pickups, and The Gunship can repair them. Samus can also dock them at will, or have only a certain amount of them flying around. (When they're hit by enemies without being destroyed, they can recharge from Samus' Energy reserves.) Note: Enemies such as Rezbits can temporarily hack into and commandeer the drones. When this happens, simply destroy the offending enemy to retrieve your drone(s).
Fusion Grapple: If Samus keeps the Fusion Suit, she should be able to Grapple an enemy and suck their life force out. Armor inhibits or completely negates this; however, she has a similar variation on her Overblast to go with this.
Rearview: Gives Samus an in-visor monitor so she can check her six.
Gunship Drones: Basically a Gunship version of the Aerial Drones. When entering the atmosphere, two to four of these are launched out of the torpedo bays, where they autonomously land, set up shields and defenses, provide terrain/climate scans, powerup location, and allow Samus to teleport between the Drones and her Gunship. These are also Save Stations, and can completely recharge everything. In spaceship combat, these drones can act much like Samus' Aerial Drones work, except they aren't capable of following if the ship goes into warp.
Spur: The Power Beam's Charge Shot becomes a normal shot. When charged up to Level 2, it makes a neat double laser effect. Charge to Level 3, however, and it pierces enemies clean through, instantly killing all enemies short of bosses.

Merged topics! I hope this doesn't cause too much confusion. I also think it's most appropriate in Fan Creations.

THANK YOU IE! I really cannot think of any other way to repay you than make artistic renderings of selected creations in this thread (including every single one of my own.) Dryn wrote:metroid composite wrote:Heat Visor: Burns enemies or objects Samus focuses on.

I'd call it Cyclops Visor myself, and make it so the trigger was tapping the side of the helmet with the free hand, just like Scott Summers does with his visor when he wishes to fire his eye lasers. BTW, we can add power absorption by touch, telekinesis, regeneration, atmospheric manipulation and some kickass adamantium claws, and we're in business.

I said pretty much the same thing a couple pages back, except mine was a device she could throw into a group of enemies that would put out a signal to attract Metroids, a la the device Batman uses in Batman Begins to attract the swarm of bats.

Ah! Jellybait, if I recall... BTW, a few more: Speed Booster Focus: In first-person while Speed Boosting, you can slow down time for a limited period, turning your Arm Cannon to either side and unleashing devastating barrages of Missiles, Super Missiles, and rapid-fire Charge Beam shots. Ultra Missile: Five Super Missiles + 25 Missiles + 1 Power Bomb + (if in Hyper Mode) 1 full Energy Tank = Missile whose explosion travels through walls, and outwards from its impact in a 100-yard radius, dealing 1000 damage to EVERYTHING in its radius (except Samus, of course). Nothing impedes the shockwave, but some of the Phazon (if used as the Ultra Hyper Super Spartan Missile Combo) can be blocked. Testing on this weapon has been limited to one trial, wherein said weapon sans Phazon caused large-scale geological activity for up to three miles away.
