Good god. Chorizo sausage are strictly forbidden! You know... since the Chozo flu outbreak.

Except...they're jellyfish. It's the same situation like the ones from Blaster Master. Sure, Cave Story is definitely a Metroid-style game (as we've even clearly stated ourselves) but I don't think they look like metroids enough to belong in our cameos feature. Besides, they don't act anything like metroids (other than them being airborne Jellyfish).

Unless there's enough demand for it... :/

The trailers for the new Simon Pegg/Nick Frost movie, Paul, have been playing non-stop recently and I noticed something familiar about the shirt that Nick Frost wears in the scenes shown.

I'm fairly certain that it is not a direct Metroid reference, but the symbol's similarity to Samus' trademark 'S' logo is remarkable.

Yeah, when i first saw that trailer, I thought of the exact same thing!!! Hahah, great minds.

Also if you see Despicable me, there are scenes where he flashbacks to his childhood. He wears a box on his head that is supposed to be his spaceman helmet, and drawn on the side of it it looks like an S-logo, too.

While playing Cave Story, I stumbled upon something that looks alot like Crocomire's skeleton head.

It's the warp icon for the Sand Zone.

*sigh* Not everything that looks like a skull is based on Crocomire.
It's based off one of the enemies in the game, which is based on a T-Rex skull...Moreover, it's pretty clear Crocomire's skull resembles that of a T-rex skull as well.

Oh alright. But I thought that because if you look, the skull has 4 eyeholes, like for Crocomire. But thanks for clearing that up.

I see no similarities whatsoever between Crocomire's skull, the Cave story enemies, and a T.Rex skull.
