Re: Best (ie your favorite) Boss Music?
Holy crap, that was catchy. Too bad the
final boss theme isn't as cool, in my opinion. DENNIS DENNIS DENNIS!
|

Re: Best (ie your favorite) Boss Music?
I don't think it's as cool either. Also, they remixed the Hoenn elite four theme a little bit in 5th gen elite four theme.

Re: Best (ie your favorite) Boss Music?I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned before, but this is one of the most badass themes ever.(Fitting for such a badass character.)
This music sounds like you're facing a techno-God (which Quadraxis basically is.) Don't forget this Rundas's theme. It's one of the biggest reasons why Rundas is one of my favorite Metroid character. The Gandrayda battle was full of EPIC WIN!! I f***ing love this battle because you can finally stand up and fight that c*nt, SA-X. My God, THIS SONG IS SPARTA! THE MOST EPIC ARRANGEMENT OF THE METROID ESCAPE THEM EVAR!!!!1! (and IMO, the best escape sequence in any Metroid game so far.) Re: Best (ie your favorite) Boss Music? The Wild Arms games have the best music.
Wh-What? - Wild Arms Battle vs Lord Blazer - Wild Arms 2 Crossfire Sequence - Wild Arms 3 That is where the Spirit Becomes Certain - Wild Arms 4 Volsung XERD_3113 - Wild Arms 5 I would link you to every single boss theme from every single Wild Arms game, but that would take far too long, and I think you get the point. |

Re: Best (ie your favorite) Boss Music?Probably the hardest two battles this song goes to: Undead Core and Ballos 3rd Form. This one was a bitch to do without Missiles. The above was ONE BIG BOSS (No relation to MGS). TWO BOSS FIGHTS, ANGELS ZERG RUSHING YOUR SORRY ASS, AND NO ******* SAVE!!! Oh, the most difficult boss I have ever had the honor of fighting. So you see, the best boss themes are always the hardest bosses! ![]()

Re: Best (ie your favorite) Boss Music?I really LOVE the Running Hell theme in Cave Story. Took me quite a fair bit of tries to finally beat it and well, finishing the game hehe. Feels good accomplishing it~
as for much favourite boss themes hmm.. Overcoming Everything~Battle Against Dark Gaia - Terranigma To me, the chorus really does it for me, a complete epic feel to the last bit of Ark's quest (although the chorus can also be a bit cheesy to some) Giant Baby Bowser - Yoshi's Island Gotta love them soundchip guitar sounds (I REALLY hope Nintendo rearranges this track one day) Shock! The Final Battle - Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha This track gives me a REAL good feeling. |

Re: Best (ie your favorite) Boss Music?A lot of stuff from metroid and brawl, plus a few things from megaman
I like kraid's lair theme from the original, Brawl's remixed vs. ridley theme, the music from prime 1 when you fight the hive mecha, as well as vs.parasite queen and meta ridley. I like metalman's theme from MMII and brawl's remix of that mario boss theme from SMB3 also brawl's remix of mute city Give a hoot. Save Ridley. Join the RCPA(Ridley cruelty protection agency)

Re: Best (ie your favorite) Boss Music?Taito shooters know how have the right atmosphere for any given event. Zuntata is a large part of this. While most shooters have frantic J-pop blaring at you, or how ZUN Touhou songs all sound the same after a while, Zuntata goes that extra mile to make each track memorable, off-kilter, and weird. This is the case with the final boss music of RayStorm, aka Layer Section II. You fight your way out of Earth, into a wormhole, and finally arrive at the enemy's home-planet. Muscling your way through the planetary defense force, you fight your way to the core of the planet, where you find the giant JUDA Control Center, the prime mover in the attempt to destroy Earth. Destroying that, you come to the ultimate weapon of the Secilia Federation... this big Starfish robot motherfucker, that's about 50 times bigger than your ship, and this badass, slow, grave, momentous, and serious orchestral song starts playing. Hell, as it starts to rev up, you hear the radio communications of the crew on board the giant death-dealer, advising evasive action and preparing for close combat- with you, you piddly little spaceship. As you take out the weapon piece by piece, the music never lets you forget how serious the occasion is, and it is a damn fine tune. Man I love Zuntata.

Re: Best (ie your favorite) Boss Music?Whilst not an actual boss theme, still pretty epic:
Whilst on the Wind Waker topic, that bird: And Molgera: And also Gohdan: The Ridley theme has probably been posted here endlessly, so I won't bother posting it. Live and Learn: I'm not posting any more. YouTube's lagging. |

Re: Best (ie your favorite) Boss Music?Plays as you fight Xenia Onatopp in GoldenEye 007. Ah, the Cycloid Emperor in Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown Letdown. Hate the game, but I still love the high point of the game when you fight the Cycloid Emperor, with this music pumping and all. Made the rest of the game worth it. (I'm sticking to the original Duke 3D.) ![]()

Re: Best (ie your favorite) Boss Music?I spent way too much time in random Forge of Souls parties during Wrath's final months. Bronjahm was awesome, as was his music.
