Let me start with, LOTS!!!!!! Voice Acting: I do llike how Samus was portrayed!! I mean no one seems to like her voice and lack of "emotion" but I always pictured her emotionless and kinda monotone. I know i would talk like that if i had been through it all. Not to mention Adam sounds VERY good!! SenseMove: LOVE!!!!!! ITS SUCH A GOOD IDEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was perfect to be able to move out of the way right away. Its very amazing!!! Story: The whole story about the Deleter was a good twist. Though i didnt like the young Samus' somewhat "Bratty" attitude with Adam bothered me but I can make up more in my head. I liked the rest of it too about how it had Samus narrating through the whole thing! Ive always talked to my self during gameplay pretending to be Samus narrating what happened. Bosses: Loved em!! I also liked the part of the story where Anthony DOESNT die and Samus gets to keep one friend!! Emotions: I love how it made me cry at Adams death scene!

I really enjoyed the gameplay. A bit unfortunate that the strategy never evolves as you gain more abilities, as in most other games of the series, but it's still darn good fun. I also really liked the plotline of corruption in the government, and the murder mystery sub-plot. What else? Oh yeah, that the classic Metroid bestiary was brougth back and revamped was really cool. Seeing those spiky platform crawlers suddenly leap and attack was pretty neat. Taking the old enemies and making them more aggressive with new moves was great. Boss battles were also really fun, though they seemed to all have the exact same strategy to win.
Overall. Great gameplay, great background story.

Yeah i loved Sense-move! I thought it was a really good idea. I also loved the gameplay and being able to do the stuff we used to see Samus do in the Prime games cut-scenes (massive evasive rolls, melee combat, etc.). I also loved how we got to learn about Samus. We got an insight into who she is, and how she likes to operate... Which i think has made her a bit more likeable and relatable cause at the end of the day, she is human... just like us (albeit a very very skilled one)

The actual game play wasn't too bad. I've not played a 2D metroid in a long time, so it was something different for me. I would really have loved the nunchuck to be used though, even if it was to be optional. The sense move was kinda strange though. It was nice, but I didn't feel like I had too much control over the attack.

Something that I would like to point out about Other M that I especially enjoyed is that the game is widescreen by nature. If you play Other M on a 4:3 television, then the game is presented in a letterboxed format. Because of this, Other M looks especially crisp when playing on a 16:9 TV. I was disappointed that Metroid Prime 3, and Metroid Prime Trilogy by extension, didn't take full advantage of widescreen. Sure, the in-game graphics were adjusted for widescreen, but Samus' visor and HUD text were just stretched. A bit unfortunate, in my opinion.
In addition, the game actually fills the entire screen. Playing any of the Prime games, including the Trilogy re-releases, results in a considerable black border around the game screen.

I really like the enviroment/atmosphere/graphics of the places and the Sectors! Plus, I also LOOOOOOVE the voice acting! Especially for Adam, there are most parts where he sounded like Leon Kennedy from the Resident Evil series. ;D And I love the music and the background music as well! ;D
I'll protect you by all means, even if it cost me another trip to Heaven...

It's another Metroid game fluid, easy to learn+use controls no random button-mashing Sense Move-I sooo loved using this, and it didn't seem affected by Nightmare's gravity manipulations though (imagine how hard the battle would have been ) Hard Mode is FINALLY Hard! too many ways to die instantly though No Kraid <LOVE ME DANGIT! It's Metroid...that's all that matters to me voice acting was fine, Samus's speeches and droning on and ON about the baby and Adam were a wee bit annoying, but the gameplay and design made up for it

Good to see other people enjoy the game, as they should! Despite some annoying writing in some places (Samus going on and on and on and on) I thought Other M was a good game. The story was nice, finding items was fun, Controls worked well, and the gameplay was damn good. Overall, a very good Metroid Game, one that I'm not ashamed to call an entry in the series.

Also, I would like to think that the enemy design in this game, outside of a terribly-designed Ridley, is superb. Everything looks threatening, bizarre, and alien. Essentially, Metroid.
Especially so on the classic enemies. I DID do an inward squeal of joy every time I found a newly-updated "classic" enemy, like those weird pod-flying things you found in Brinstar in the original Metroid.

I really enjoyed the part where Samus was in the building where the Mystery Creature appears. I also enjoyed the scene where Samus finds the dead Gigafraug. The ominous feel in the atmosphere was something I really hope will return in the future Metroid titles. I'm not asking for something like Resident Evil. I just really thought that the way the atmosphere was presented was spot-on. It's something I always wanted in a Metroid game. I know some people didn't think the music was memorable, but I thought that the music was great for the atmosphere in the game. When I enter the Crysophere, for example, I get that feeling of loneliness, and the music complements that. Maybe in the next one, we'll have Kenji playing the music like he did in the previous titles, and perhaps the music can be both memorable and complementary to a shady atmosphere. Since Metroid is using a lot of cloning, perhaps Kraid will pop up again. I was always of the opinion that Kraid was a native to planet Zebes, and seeing as how he really has no way of leaving the planet, he could leave if he was cloned or had offspring that were sent to other planets. the only thing i didn't like about M:OM is that its so short! i liked how we know a bit more about

the bosses were hatd and awesome and the developers know what fan service is!
i.e. queen metroid and phantoon!
and the cg scenes were great

Ridley's sporting some impressive gym anatomy there. You have to respect that.

Ridley should look like some hunch-backed vulture dragon thingy. That's quintessential Ridley.
Ridley in Other M has this goofy human torso that I guess is supposed to make him look like a devil or something but it just comes off as not-Ridley.
I guess I can see what they were trying to do but I don't think they succeeded by a long shot. Which is a shame for a game with so many great enemy designs.

Ridley only looks weird when he's upright. When he's hunched over like a caged lion he looks really menacing and evil. While he stands up he looks like a skeleton you'd see in a Science class.
Even the strongest of people can have their faith broken. Mine has.
