The Nintendo 3DS NES Ambassador games are just two days away, and although there's been no official announcement of the full line-up yet the official Japanese 3DS eShop page has seen an update to feature the 10 NES games.

Here's what's going to be available in Japan on Thursday. There may be a few changes to the Western releases, but for the most part this list should be accurate:
■Super Mario Bros.
■The Legend of Zelda
■Ice Climber
■Balloon Fight
■Donkey Kong Jr.
■Wrecking Crew
■NES Open Tournament Golf (called Mario Open Golf in Japan)
■Yoshi (known as Yoshi's Egg in Japan)
■Metroid
■Legend of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Having never played any Zelda game before, this should be good! Maybe I will even pick up the new 3DS game after I beat these.

if you're refering to ocarina of time 3D, then it's definetly worth it, especialy if you've never played it before. of course, if you have the wii, you can get the game without the 3DS upgrades for about only 1,000 wii points. that's $30 cheaper.

Wrecking Crew, haha, that game was fun. It was the first Mario ever released before he became Mr. Plumbersavingguy. Indeed Donkey Kong was the first Actual game where Mario saves the Princess, before Bowser is even introduced. Glad to hear this news.

Yeah... I'm currently playing the Game Boy version of Donkey Kong, and there'll be some more ape ass-kicking in my 3DS in Donkey Kong Jr. later. And Wrecking Crew was designed by Sakamoto!

I don't think you should start playing Zelda with the older games. The new ones are so much more user-friendly. Though you shouldn't have a problem with the first one if you're already used to NES games. The second one is very... different.
