Metroid Fusion - Fastest main boiler explosion times

I thought that we could all share how fast we did the Main Boiler run, to get the Wide beam, in Metroid Fusion. This 6:00 clock ticks down as you race to stop the boiler in Sector 3 from exploding.

I have no idea. I don't register the amount of time left.

Also, this should be in Metroid Classic.

Oh my lord, I was just about to put it there! I thought to myself though that, what if they say "this should go to GVD" then I'd but now I'm ing ever harder.

Don't worry, I caught it.

I'd have to actually play the game again, myself, to give any sort of accurate idea of how long it takes to diffuse that particular situation on average. I do remember a couple of playthroughs, though, where I had mere seconds left on the timer... But I have a tendency to do that with timed events every now and then.

Indeed. I always use to play around with shit, collecting Items. and messing around. I blew up the first couple of times.....now I'm a speedrunner of the game.

Sometimes I just have "panic" moments where everything that could go wrong goes wrong. Jump too late, jump too soon, inconceivably horrible aim, out of ammo (how does that even happen?!), baddies gang up on me, etc, etc... It's like, when you try to simply fall down a shaft, and you hit every single enemy on the way down.

It's not like Fusion is new. The "secret message" has been on youtube for years.

Lol, Zero, isn't the only way you could POSSIBLY run out of ammo in Fusion is if you like, use missiles for EVERYTHING and never stop to pick anything up?

I'd have to replay it to find out my time, but I figure I could probably get there in a good minute and a half, not counting the elevator ride.

Well yeah, they should stop the time for elevator rides, but that wouldn't make since so.
