I'm going to a Whitesnake concert this weekend, so I was looking up some videos of the current band line-up. I own the newest album, Forevermore, and love it, but I wanted to check out their live act.
Whitesnake - Love Will Set You Free.
I was very surprised when I found out their current lead guitarist, Doug Aldrich, is an ex-Dio member! So Ronnie Dio and David Coverdale had not one, but two common guitarists. Ritchie Blackmore really has an amazing legacy.
Dio - Holy Diver (live).

Totally randomly found this skipping around through YT. It's pretty awesome, if not insanely Japanese.

Nice! I'm kinda curious about the lyrics, though.

If my idea of "G of War" ever get's fully realized (which it won't), this will be its theme song:
What is "G of War"? You'll need to PM me to find out.

At least from the perspective of the Space Pirates.

I don't want to know. I love this mix.

@kronoridley: Kratos is already a lame enough character as-is...
@Azure Dragonius: Yeah, it is pretty awesome.
@InoFan: It can't possibly be that obvious...
And... Here's something epic (or awesome, or enlightening, for those who don't like the word):
Various - Smoke on the Water
It includes:
Ritchie Blackmore and Ian Gillan, from Deep Purple Brian May and Roger Taylor, from Queen Chris Squire and Geoff Downes, from Yes Tony Iommi, from Black Sabbath David Gilmour, from Pink Floyd Bruce Dickinson, from Iron Maiden Paul Rodgers, from Bad Company Alex Lifeson, from Rush ... and others

Ha ha, that's pretty cool. It reminds me of an english rap of the Chai Kingdom theme from SML that I heard YEARS ago. I've been looking for it ever since but I can't for the life of me find it. It's awesome, though, trust me. I have been messing around with Famitracker as of late (as well as continuing with TFM Music Maker and its update, VGM Music Maker), and I have a LOT to learn, but I think I'm making progress. This is part of a game I imagine where you play as a fire-fighter fighting evil fire.Speaking of VGM Music Maker, it's this cool free tracker that lets you make authentic Sega Genesis music. It's really versatile, and I recommend lovers of FM synthesis check it out. Here's a catchy tune I whipped up: Chopper Blues

I love the ending theme, adding the FDS sounds makes it better.

Deep Purple just confirmed they'll play in Curitiba on October 12th. So it'll be the first time I'll watch a rock concert without involving hours inside an airport or a car.

Queen is holding auditions for an official cover band. It's time for Mercury soundalikes to shine, and this guy has me legitimately impressed:

At least you get to watch a concert, I missed out on going to Metallica this summer. Could've went, it was just 2 hours away in Halifax.
