Ok, I feel dumb. My last post was in response to something on page one of this thread...

But anyway, good to clear that up.

What about collaborative entries? My disabilities make drawing, on paper or computer, essentially impossible; & even pixel art is difficult.
If I come up with the specs & a detailed description & have a visual artist create a rendering to order, can we enter together & split the prize(s), if any, as we like?

I don't have anything against collaborative entries, however, if anyone wins, we would only ship the stuff out to one person. You'd have to split it up on your own.

That seems perfectly reasonable. But, if you were to post the winners’ names, both/all individuals could get recognition online, yes?

Can I make my entry feature Samus in her suitless form, but with features of the Power Suit? (i.e. the shoulder pads, Arm Cannon, armored arm, boots)

The contest itself is NOT just for the USA, but winning the prizes is.

There are multiple reasons why we have to limit prizes to the USA. Shipping costs are the #1 concern. Believe it or not, all of our contests barely fit within our budget as it is. We don't want people to have to pay any kind of money for this and adding international shipping just puts a heavy burden on us.

So what you're saying is that anyone that wins that is outside of USA, won't get a prize, and it will be given to the next highest winner that is US? If that is the case, if I were to submit art, and I won, could I pick someone I know, that lives in the US, to claim the prize?

My question that YamI also reissued remains, but I also must ask........would shipping outside the US be possible if the winner paid for 50% or more of the shipping cost?

Kinda a dumb question but what counts a "paintover" cause now I'm a little reluctant to use any kind of reference material.
