Official Harmony of a Hunter Thread

Mine arrived today!

It's number 185.

The poster's in pretty bad shape. It's currently under three books so it flattens out a bit, but I don't think there's much to be saved. Oh well, it's all very nice.

Just in case you wasn't aware, we're putting together an expansion to Harmony of a Hunter. The album will be called Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run and launches at some point this year. You're quite welcome. It felt right to do an expansion and try to cover everything we possibly could.

I think we all are. They didn't do anything for Donkey Kong's 30th Anniversary either, and I think that's a little more notable than Metroid. Still, that doesn't mean we can't keep Metroid in the spotlight!

Is there any way I could contribute to the expansion? I did arrange a Magmoor Caverns/Lower Norfair Sax Quartet. It's somewhat crude, but if you want a recording, I could provide you with one. It may be an actual recording of me and my three sax buddies or it may be a simple computer-generated recording, depending on if I can rally the troops; Alto #2 didn't want to play it at the concert, so I had to get Alto #3 to do it. Tenor and Bari were more willing, but Bari graduated and Tenor is the new Bari. Alto #2 is going to be Alto #1 and Alto #3 is going to be Alto #2. I (Alto #1 currently) am the new Tenor. Still, it sounded pretty cool. If you're interested, please let me know, and please be aware that with only 2 school days left this year, you may not get the recording until this coming August.

I assume Darren is busy at work right now processing the tracks he received for the Expansion. There's quite a bit of audio tweaking involved to get something as good as HOTH out.

In case you guys aren't aware, the final preview for Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run was released this weekend. It's up on MDb's front page, but in any case:

Darren sent me an early copy yesterday. It was fantastic. Breathtaking, really.
