All the virtual console games do not count either, they aren't 3DS games.
Not really the system's fault that you are not a fan of fighting games.......

At least from the perspective of the Space Pirates.

Why would I play a game that require fast responses and observation of the opponent on a tiny screen?

Because it's fun... ? What other reason do you need? Anyway. IGN is at it again. Yet another article made for nothing else than to start a fanboy war and generate overall rage. Urgh.

That would be a nice argument if it weren't for the fact they don't look fun for my tastes... If they just hurry up and release a new Advance Wars I'll be happy

As a fighting game fan myself (something that you clearly aren't judging by how the first word you used was "fast"), I can easily say that the system works great for fighting games. The circle pad make executing special moves a tiny bit harder, but I am not that good with a regular analog either Also, the screen size is NOT an issue. So yeah.....your point just got completely crushed. ........I SMELL A COMEBACK........WILL THIS GAMBIT WORK?!

How so? The whole thing is subjective... No, I'm not a huge fan of fighting games yet still think they are better suited to larger screens, I would say same for a competitive FPS title. When playing against another human player in any real time multiplayer game reaction time is important, the faster you can respond the better, if the game inhibits this for whatever reason then it's not ideal and luck rather than skill creeps in. If the small screen doesn't negate ones ability to respond in good time then great but I suspect that in some games it will do. I still don't see how having a few fighting games makes it all OK for the 3DS to have a weak selection of games. kronoridley wrote:........I SMELL A COMEBACK........WILL THIS GAMBIT WORK?!
I'm anosmic so I don't know what a comeback smells like...

Wait, what? BIT.TRIP SAGA is out? Since when? Not seen it at Best Buy... *checks* Oh, I see, sold out. New shipment in 3 more weeks... Chris wrote:I'm anosmic so I don't know what a comeback smells like...

Well let me just tell you the the screen size does NOT hinder the gameplay at all. Even smaller projectiles are easier to notice, and this applies to all fighting game's (except maybe SSB, but those game's were never too balanced to begin with....)
And while you are DEFINITLY correct that having a few fighting games makes everything all hunky dorey (Whatever the hell that means....), but it still moves the system's library from "weak" to "lacking" for fans of the genre (which isn't a niche as SF4's sales have proven......)
Also, a cookie to however get's that awkward refrence.

Wii didn’t have anything great besides a Zelda port at first either... & look how amazing that’s turned out. kronoridley wrote:Well let me just tell you the the screen size does NOT hinder the gameplay at all. Agreed, the 3D takes away nothing, & usually adds something. I vastly prefer my DSi XL to my regular DSi, but I have been quite pleased with the clarity of 3DS. kronoridley wrote:And while you are DEFINITLY correct that having a few fighting games makes everything all hunky dorey (Whatever the hell that means....), but it still moves the system's library from "weak" to "lacking" for fans of the genre (which isn't a niche as SF4's sales have proven......)
Hunky-dory is a good thing, so I think you have that backwards. kronoridley wrote:Also, a cookie to however get's that awkward refrence.

Basically... It's somewhat easier to explain why I'm looking at a picture of a girl with that kind of expression than that of a guy. Anyway. I'm having fun with Star Fox 64 3D, despite being short. The alternate routes really help the replay value.

So, people, where are your 3DS friend codes? I only have two or three MDblians added. Mine is 2406 5241 6283.
