Try not to cry at this turn of events. Things get very emotional from 4:48 onward... And that end? Had me in tears.
This video will make you cry for a completely different reason.

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you crywhat was I suppose to be crying at?
VGM out... Super Metroid, the most perfect game ever created! Period!

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryThe footage I linked is likely the hardest part of one of the hardest games ever made. (Not an exaggeration) Those who can even make it that far in rely on the cube's piling up as a shield to survive. The guy playing is so good it makes me think I should just give up on video games.

Crying at how you will never be as brave, or as skilled, as the pilot of that Vic Viper. *sniff*

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryThat guy holds the Western record for GIII with a score of 918,130 points. What's your score, 'brave pilot'?

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryYou can stop trying to pretend, VGM. It's ok to cry with us.

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryOkay, I'm fairly certain at this point I can say to the other Mass Effect series players two words and they will know.
Priority: Tuchanka I'm fairly certain we all know the song as well. |

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cry
I never even looked at the video or even clicked the link, but from the context I already know EXACTLY what you're talking about: The cube rush stage in Gradius 3 for Arcade. As far as sad moments go, Chrono Trigger had me for multiple things: Humanity itself in 2300 AD
reduced to desperate survivors in rags, clinging to life by a seed.
Finding out Frog's true story
and the ultimate fate of Sir Cyrus
Azala telling you why the reptites were fighting the humans in 65,000,000 BC:
Survival
Balthesar in general.
Cast away from home, slowly losing his mind as he tries to build a time machine... Then uploads his mind into a Nu-like creature, who you eventually have to shut down forever anyways.
Finding out Magus' true story
as Schala's younger brother Janus, after an involuntary trip through time. And only after the last time you will ever see Schala again. Ever.
, not to mention what happens if you decide to settle the score with him instead of just sheathing your sword and leaving him there. Atropos And of course,
the death of the main character, but he (has the option of) getting better.
|

Re: Emotional Moments in Gaming - games that made you cryhere are just a few.
When the baby dies in super metroid saving samus does it for me. another is in wind waker when medli leaves dragon roost island leaving komali behind to go to the earth temple. Another is in ocarina of time when link sees princess zelda in the temple of time after she loses her disguise as a sheikah. |
