(I still clearly remember the excitement I held when Zero Mission was announced) Anyway, it's a pleasure being here though I doubt my presence will be any more noticeable.

I hate writing first posts because I'm always afraid I'm going to come off as being awkward. You don't get a second chance to make a first impression!
Anyway, my name is Spencer (legitimately) and I'm a 19-year-old guy, about to turn 20 in February. I only started playing Metroid in June, and I can't believe what I've been missing out on. My girlfriend bought the NES version on a whim and since then, I've purchased all of the games except for Prime 3 and Trilogy. In, like, half a year, the series has become my absolute favorite. It's great.
I hope to contribute at least a little bit to the conversations here and maybe make some new friends along the way.

Hey everybody! I'm Apollo Helios, but please, call me Luke. I've been following the site for years now and I've been meaning to join up on the forum forever. I'm 29 and a long time veteran of the Metroid series, I started all the way back with the original on the NES. I've played every entry in the series except for the offshoots (Pinball, Hunters) on DS. I seriously cannot stress how much I love Metroid.

I am also the proud owner of the newest tattoo entry in the Fan for Life section - the Metroid and NES controller. Check it out and let me know what you think. I have several gaming and comic tattoos, so feel free to tell me how much I'll regret it when I'm 40 years old
