http://www.screwattack.com/news/retro-g ... rm-returnssource: andriasang.com/comzr4/neo_geo_pocket_2/ Bet it wasn't quite what you were expecting, eh? While the NGPC had proprietary games, this Neo Geo Portable Device (NGPD) will ship with twenty classic Neo Geo games built in. The NGPD also sports a 4.3 inch screen, 2 GB of storage, a 2200 mAh battery, and is a little larger than an iPhone. It will support SD cards as well, so there might be an opportunity to get more games maybe through the Neo Geo Station service that SNK Playmore runs on PSN.
Comes with 20 Neo Geo games included: WORLD HEROES ULTIMETE 11 TOP PLAYER'S GOLF SENGOKU NAM-1975 MUTATION NATION LAST RESORT KING OF MONSTERS FRENZY CYBER LIP FATAL FURY SPECIAL ART OF FIGHTING SUPER SIDEKICKS LEAGUE BOWLING METAL SLUG MAGICAL LORD BASEBALL STARS PROFESSIONAL SAMURAI SHODOWN KING OF FIGHTERS '94 FATAL FURY
Have this be cheap enough and I might just consider picking it up. You have to admit that the thing looks super smexy. And if there are some great arcade games from SNK coming? Mmmmmmm.

It's interesting how they managed to give it an early 90s retro look and still simultaneously make it look sleek and modern. It also reminds me of the Game Boy Micro.
I've never been too big on SNK, though I do enjoy the Metal Slug games, and if the price is right, I'll also get one.

Aw man! Here I was thinking Neo Geo was making a new handheld console with exclusive games on it. Ah well....... Btw, not interested in picking it up unless they announce it'll accept/have new games on it

At least from the perspective of the Space Pirates.

I'm pretty sure those images are shopped and fake. Look at this image (that was in the same batch as the one Ing posted): L1, L2, R1, R2? I don't think so.

Having L1 being the outside button and R1 being the inside button makes no sense. At all.
Still, it would be nice if this thing actually existed. Probably wouldn't interest me, though. It looks pretty ugly (a cross between the GBA and the iPhone, but still ugly) and I was never big with arcade games.

Looks like one half of a 3DS. Not sure if shopped or not, the shoulder buttons do look oddly sequenced as pointed out. The SD slot looks bit strange also. Was wrong about the circle pad addon though so not going to say anything either way!

THIS IS BLOODY AMAZING
Gimme some more Fatal Fury and/or KoF and I'm buying this shit. (I'll probably buy it regardless.)

I can't help but notice the utter lack of perspective on the SD slot and the headphone jack.

Yes, then we can shell out another $800 for a system that does nothing but play a handful of games. There's a reason SNK went bankrupt, and the quality of their later software was only a small part of that.

So it is real? Intriguing.
I'm going to wait before I say much more, but isn't it something that would've been better as a Nintendo eShop service? Like, y'know, the Game Gear our 3DSs became yesterday.
And I wonder if it'll have some actually new games on it?
EDIT: Just realized something. I'm going to press the D button every single time a game tells me to press A.

I would say they wouldn't charge over $300. Considering a PSP Vita is $249, anything higher would be ridiculous.
