Re: What are you playing/what have you purchased?@Zynux
I believe the point was to provide Link with a moral dilemma he doesn't usually encounter in games: If he doesn't wake the Windfish, everyone lives happily ever after... but in a world of pure imagination, where nothing done has any meaning and the evils of the real world allowed to run free without a hero to stop them However, if he wakes the great fish, then he has to destroy all the friends he's made, dooming them to psychological limbo. As for the fish itself... I'm not entirely sure about this one, but I think I once heard some strange story about the entire world being the dream of a cosmic butterfly... or maybe I'm just imagining it and a recent youtube series made me think I'd heard the idea before Moving on, I'm playing Terraria... and dying... repeatedly. Re: What are you playing/what have you purchased?
Except I'm pretty sure that was a bot. Either that or someone with really bad English. I tried going for the Zombie Chopper achievement on HL2 Ravenholm my first run. Was annoying as hell, but I eventually got through it. TF2, Fallout 3, Mass Effect 2 on Insanity (I'VE ALREADY DIED FIVE TIMES IN FREEDOM'S PROGRESS), BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Street Fighter III: Online Edition, etc. etc., a shitload of online games. As for stuff I've purchased, I sent my brother to buy Left 4 Dead 2, and he'll be back in a couple of hours. ![]() |

Re: What are you playing/what have you purchased?Since my Wii's lens died on me I'm stuck with playing portable games. I've mainly been playing Dragonball Origins for the DS. I don't really know why I quit playing this game a while back.

Re: What are you playing/what have you purchased?
Well if your a Dragonball fan from watching it back on Toonami, it will be very nestalgic. So far I've put down atleast 10 hours into it and I haven't beat it yet. The controls work well for the most, the only thing is that it will take a little bit to get used to them. If you like collecting, there are figurines scattered through out each level giving you replay value. Overall this game is pretty good especially with how cheap it is now days. For new I see it priced at $20 and you could probably find it cheaper for game only if your one of those kinds of people. Bottom line, yeah I think it's worth it. |

Re: What are you playing/what have you purchased?Got around to finishing Amnesia: The Dark Descent, not sure why suddenly stopped playing but it turned out was almost at the end anyway, cracking game although the ending was bit meh.
Mirrors Edge, picked it up in one of Steam sales, nice game but short lived, steam says 4 hours, glad I didn't buy it at full price at release, would check out a sequel for sure if they made it longer. Now playing Bioshock, seems great thus far, my only problem is switching between guns and plasmids in heat of battle is bit chaotic and that the flashes on screen when shot are super annoying. |

Re: What are you playing/what have you purchased?Almost finished Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. Next: Fire Emblem Sword of Sealing. Then considering FE:4, but I get the feeling I'll want to avoid strategy games for a good week or two after finishing the first two
Edit: Okay, so I was doing fine up to Chapter 26. At this point, I think I might have shot myself in the foot: I have two level 9 or so sages, 3 level 5-9 paladins, a level 5-9 sniper, a hero, and a berserker However, I have a level 2 lord, only one blade lord, a level 3 thief, terrible pegasus/wyvern knights, and absolutely no light mages This is going to be hard (if possible) to finish up "Writing is easy. Re: What are you playing/what have you purchased?Good luck with Blazing Sword, I've never finished it myself.
BlazBlue: Continuum Shift, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game. Will hopefully be buying The Darkness and preordering (and fully paying off) BlazBlue: Continuum Shift EXTEND today. ![]() |
