Yes I am aware the first two are available. The third is not. In a series all about seeing how the choices you make affect the galaxy at large, not having access to your saves in the final act is a poor choice.

So you're saying I should get the three through Origin? But is the first one even worth getting? I hear ME2 works pretty well without it... And I could get both 2 and 3 on PS3.

Checking the Brazilian Origin store, I see their prices are pretty good. In fact, the first game is cheaper there than on Steam and the second is only a bit more expensive. The third one is also at a good price for R$100. I might get them there, then...

Edit: a quick search seems to indicate that it's possible for an Origin-purchased copy of Mass Effect 3 import save data from a Steam-purchased Mass Effect 2.

Yes. Mass Effect 1 is fantastic. Don't miss out on it. 2 is good but you will have a richer experience if you play the 1st. There is no reason not to.

Thanks for the suggestions. :) My birthday's coming up this month and I might ask for one or two of these games.

Today I beat Lost in Shadow for Wii. I've been playing Rhythm Heaven Fever for. Today was my birthday, I turn 17. With birthday money I'm probably going to finish paying off Xenoblade and pre-ordering Kid Icarus Uprising.

I ended up buying Mass Effect yesterday on PC. The game doesn't let me play it with an USB controller :/ but it's pretty fun so far. Haven't played much, though.

Do yourself a favor: learn every squad member's powers, and turn off squad use so that they can only use powers when you order them to. Keep one biotic and one tech on your team, unless you know ahead of time what kind of enemies you're facing. Use powers as often as possible.

The game is more strategic and fun this way. And you'll feel awesome when you rip apart enemy squads.

Once I get paid next week, among other things, I think I'll buy an import of Night Striker S, for my Saturn, to round out my Taito collection.

It's a fun 3D shooter where you drive a car down highways and take out helicoptors, boats, robot mechs and other such terrorist badguys.

It's also got a really bitchin' soundtrack by ZUNTATA.

If you like these types of games, pick up a ROM of it for MAME. It's pretty fun shooting action.

The Engrish in the game is also hilarious:

The game is a real gem of bad translation:

That is gorgeous. No, there is no word to describe how wonderful that is.

I got Pokemon Leaf Green for the GBA for my birthday. I'm starting off with a Bulbasaur.

I haven't been on here in so long because of this...

Skyrim. Oh how it's sucked me into its digital awesomeness...

Been playing through Discworld all last week. It's not a particularly difficult game; there's just little logic to the solutions, a lot of trial and error. Well, I started it up last night - I was working my way through Act 3 - and accidentally saved over my file - you only get one - at the title screen - yeah, that's possible I had to start over from the beginning. Fortunately, knowing what to do and where to go, it only took me a couple of hours to get back to where I was. o_O
