Re: What's Your Favorite Boss From The Metroid Series?:3 Crocomire is my fave. Yup, I has confirmed it. And Adam even authorized it.
Thus, it's official, and I wont be able to change. Why? . |

BEST.METROID.BOSS.EVER......So what's your favorite?
Here's a hint at mine: ![]() Opinions are opinions, not facts. Though, everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course. Even Metroids and Ridley, the unkillable beast.
Viva Les Alpha et Omega Metroids. Kraid should be brought back, he needs some good 'ol Metroid love. |

Re: BEST.METROID.BOSS.EVER...Prime 2 Dark Samus
Quadraxis Zero Mission/Super: Kraid Rundas When it comes to Ridley or Kraid, I was thought Kraid was the more interesting boss battle. ![]() "Cut! There are no second chances for actors that fall to the abyss. Await your second casting in the darkness forever." - The Night of Wallachia

Re: What's Your Favorite Boss From The Metroid Series?Nothing Like a Dark Samus fight while the self-destruct system is activated and working. Really gets your adrenaline pumping. Especially dodging the moves and everything. Great ending boss for a great game.

Re: What's Your Favorite Boss From The Metroid Series?I have to go with Mother Brain from SM. Awesome music, good old shooting and dodging, and not too difficult!
Also, Crocomire. I guess I have to admit that. For reasons already mentioned by other people. I also enjoy Meta Ridley in Prime 1 until he gets on the ground and starts charging at you. That was irritating. I really like the generator shaft MR fight in MP3. That was different and intense. The music kicks ass too! I think Mogenar needs to go die in a pool of Phazon. I beat him on my first try but it took half an hour!!! The defense drone wasn't too bad though. Rundas wasn't really hard at all. Ghor was an interesting fight too. I'm halfway through MP3. I don't think I've fought a boss in that game more than twice, if that. |

Re: What's Your Favorite Boss From The Metroid Series?Metroid Prime.
It just seemed like such an epic final showdown. "I am tired of being under the weight of greedy men who don't believe in anything."

Re: What's Your Favorite Boss From The Metroid Series?
I have to agree with this. EDIT: New favorite boss: OMEGA RIDLEY. What a fun fight. |

Re: What's Your Favorite Boss From The Metroid Series? My FAVORITE boss in the Metroid series is the Metroid Queen. It has an awesome theme and looks badass.
![]() Phazon, you can run from it,but you can't hide from it.

Re: What's Your Favorite Boss From The Metroid Series?id go for gandrayda as the fight takes so long and she changes into different bosses.
and she hardly ever stays still. the second half of the fight is much harder. |

Re: What's Your Favorite Boss From The Metroid Series?Ghor. It thrilled me to see all machinery, it trilled me to see all weaponry, hell, it even thrilled me getting killed by him. He is my favorite Hunter (With Weavel and Spire at the 2nd and 3d point) and brings morestory than the others. To bad DS Consumes him...
The creepiest boss goes single handedly to SA-X. It stalksyou like...i dont know what... In all games i've played, that is the only boss who truly Hunts you, who lives to kill a lone human, even if it needs to bring itself with. Plus that the one you relied on hoped your tombstone would be written before you saved the galaxy. |

Re: What's Your Favorite Boss From The Metroid Series?
^^This. SA-X really got my heart pounding. Nightmare from Fusion...is a freaking nightmare. I'm like FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU- all ten or so tries of that fight. Yakuza too. I hate them. They stink. At least in Other M they make the Nightmare fight fun. |

Re: What's Your Favorite Boss From The Metroid Series?I don't know if I've posted in this topic before, but in general some of my all-time favorite video-game bosses were in Metroid Prime 2.
Namely Quadraxis and the ol' Emperor himself. Fun, satisfying, inventive, and difficult challenges; also, they were oozing with creativity. Prime 1 was a great game, but its bosses, aside from an excellent Ridley and a great Metroid Prime fight, were a little blase (not that they weren't excellent in and of themselves). The sequel really ratcheted things up with great ideas. Part of the reason I think that Echoes is the best game in the Trilogy. It's hard to pick a favorite in Super Metroid, because every single boss is worthy of praise. Fusion would be a toss-up between Serris, BOX p2 (for the unique twist of electrified water), and Nightmare.
