I have to agree with Chris. The Godfather just doesn't keep my attention for very long. Of course, the same goes for most mob films.

The last movie I watched was Sin City, fuck that movie is morbid as hell but it's such an awesome movie, anything Frank Miller touches is pure badassness. I really love how they made the movie look just like the comic book in terms of use of colour and effects and how almost every scene mirrors the comic. For me a 9/10, an awesome movie and recommend it to anyone who can put up with it's content

The last movie I saw in theaters was The Hunger Games. Having read all the books, it was awesome. At home, my girlfriend and I have been watching the Star Wars complete saga on blu ray, starting with the originals, since she has never seen them. She loved them and has become an addict.

Pan's Labyrinth, watched it couple of years ago and decided to watch again last night. Really nice film, lots of hidden meanings and metaphors and such.

Just saw The Cabin in the Woods a couple of hours ago. One of the best horror movies I've seen in a while. It had a really good twist and the last 3rd of the film is a horror fan's dream. As the Cinema Snob put it, it was like a mix between Evil Dead and the Truman Show.

I just watched the Friday the 13th remake. It was my first time seeing it, and while I didn't think it was the best, I definitely don't understand why people hate it so much.

I watched The Avengers last night. Holy crap. This movie is awesome from start to finish. There isn't a single boring moment. The jokes are funny, the references to the Marvel universe are great, Hulk smashes the hell out of everything, the acting is great, the effects are great. I could make an argument about how the directing wasn't perfect and there are a few moments where you have trouble understanding what's going on, but you're probably too busy with the amount of awesome to pay any attention to that.
