I haven't really gotten into Zelda just yet but I'm highly interested in it. My husband is a total Zelda guy. I've played Zelda 1 and Zelda 2 but I have not beaten them. :( I got lost in the Final Dungeon in Zelda 1 then somehow my file got reset. :'( and Zelda 2 is just so hard on the last palace. I liked them both otherwise.

Miyamoto possibly wanting to make a new zelda in style of Link to the Past!

Was rumors of 3DS port before but this sounds better idea.

Nice. Hopefully LttP style means no trains, boats, stealth dungeons or touchscreen controls.

Spirit Tracks is the most difficult game I've ever played.

IF you define game difficulty as "a challenge to complete". I've been playing on and off for two years now and I just have no motivation to care about anything to do with it. The plot is uninteresting, I don't like the dumb train, touch controls for EVERYTHING is annoying (I can't switch between Link and Phantom Zelda by tapping a side button so I don't have to stop running? Really?), and that stupid sand wand is BROKEN. Touching the screen right above where you want to make a block apparently is incorrect.

Hopefully. That would be wonderful.

I'm same, thing is though, I have no motivation to finish skyward sword either, I'm pretty sure I'm at the last dungeon in both ST and SS but I've not touched them in ages now. I actually liked the controls in PH and ST but would prefer buttons in next one on 3DS but keep stuff like drawing on maps and stuff.

@Chris

The final bossfight in SS is worth it.

The ending of Skyward Sword is amazing. Totally worth your time and effort. Just finish it!

So far I find LttP to be a lot of fun and sometimes "throw you controller across the room" frustrating. The backtracking that my husband has me do gets so annoying! I'm on the 6th dungeon in the dark world now. I hated that caterpillar boss from the third dungeon in the light world that could knock you into the hole and make you restart the fight. >_<X

I'll do it this weekend then! :) Think main problem for me with SS is what mentioned ages ago, the motion controls just don't work well for me, combat can be pain. Problem with ST was it's boring.

My only possible solution would be if your wii is (perhaps I've said this before :-?) in a well sunlit room. In which case, the sunlight interferes with the wiimote plus. It took me thirty minutes to try and figure out why I couldn't play a chord on the harp >_<X until I moved to a diferent angle, blocking out most of the sunlight in the process, after that, everything worked perfectly :D

It actually interferes with the pointer (which is used for harp playing, it seems). Doesn't make a difference for the angular sensor in the Wii MotionPlus.

And... Spirit Tracks wasn't that bad...

I bet I could tell you something that would make you hate Spirit Tracks even more.

I don't know if it would be possible. But please, by all means, now I'm curious :P

Alright.

Originally you were going to be able to lay down your own tracks, but testers were setting up routes that let them ignore the plot so Nintendo removed it.
