Eh, half of the charm of SOTN comes from its fun, cheesy translation. No pun intended, but DracX Chronicles' localization has no soul - they sound like generic anime actors. The original cast gave it their all, you have to give them that!
XBLA would be a good version to get for SOTN - if not that, the PS1 version goes for something in the realm of $3.
I don't know about PSN, so I couldn't help you there. Saturn version is neat, but you'd have to have a Saturn, ha.

I went to that store like I said and I picked up Ninja Gaiden 2 for the NES, Metal Gear Solid VR Missions for the PS1, Perfect Dark for N64, Chrono Cross for PS1, and 1943 for the NES. I've mainly been playing MGS VR Missions, but I played some Ninja Gaiden 2 and Perfect Dark 4-player split-screen multiplayer, OOOOHHHH YYEEAAHH!

So when my girlfriend and I went to PAX East we watched the Assassin's Creed III video, and she said "Wow, that looks awesome." So today while we were shopping I decided I wanted to get myself Uncharted 2 for our PS3, and she asked me to buy Assassin's Creed II for our 360 for her to try (which we need for our collection anyway). Then in the mail I got Heavy Rain from GameFly.
So I'm not actually playing anything right now, but I've got Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain to keep me occupied while she's at work, and in the mean time I'm watching her assassinate Templar agents left and right.
Sexy.

Started playing Uncharted 2 today. Got all the way up to Chapter 19 out of 26. Finally, something that grabbed me and sucked me in. Haven't been this into a game since Mass Effect 3.

I've still been playing MGS VR Missions. I played a lot of Perfect Dark 4-player multiplayer AND IT WAS AWESOME! My 3 other brothers really enjoyed it. We probably like the multiplayer more than Goldeneye. I started playing Perfect Dark's single player and had mixed feelings on it and quit playing. But then I tried it again and now I love it, still not as much as Goldeneye.

So, I want some of you to give me a suggestion. I'm thinking of buying The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in a few months and... PC or PS3?

Not that I've played it on either system, but from what I've read Bethesda games on PS3 glitch out more frequently and have lag, etc etc. I feel like PC will have more support, plus you have access to all the mods.

I see what you mean. I'm more of a console gamer, but I think I'm going to wait for a Steam promotion to get it on PC. In other news, I bought Portal 2 again. I had the PS3 version, but the PC version is five bucks today and it supports the new level editor.

Oblivion, as well as Skyrim, is far and away better on PC, assuming of course your PC can handle it, which considering the game's age shouldn't be a problem.
Plus: Mods = Win
P.S.: Thanks for the heads up on Portal 2. Purchased and downloading now.

Finished RE:Revelations today. Pretty average ending but was fun game nonetheless.
Wonder what the mansion was all about at the end?
. Will have bash at finishing Skyward Sword tomorrow, didn't get chance last weekend on the count of drinking too much

Seriously, I played to much Xenoblade yesterday (which isn't a problem). I played like 8-9 hours of it yesterday.

Finished Uncharted 2 earlier this week, and am now starting Heavy Rain. Hope it doesn't disappoint.
