Metroid windows 7 Custom theme

Well i went searching and couldnt find any themes for us metroid fans, i decided to go ahead and make one of my own. Its got a good amount of wallpaper, a couple sounds to go with it, like startup and shutdown. none of the wallpaper were made by me, of course i found it all browsing the net, tried to get nothing smaller then 1440 x 900. i Did come across the post on here of someone else that made their own theme but to no avail the link was dead. to start off with i will just post the link to directly download it from me, im on 25mbit upload so dont expect to it go super fast for everyone, once i get it hosted elsewhere or can get it hosted on here directly then it will be changed. All comments welcome, id like to see what people think.

I downloaded and scanned for virus' and ran myself (I'm a tech) and I can tell you it's clean No offense NEOeclipse, a new poster with only 1 post looks kinda suspicious.

I use to have a win7 theme but lost it. I'll hopefully have my own up here one day but until then, thanks for putting this together

totally understandable, im in the IT field myself so i know how it is, that is also why i made it a zip file and not an executable of any sort so atleast it is easier to be scanned. i run symantec endpoint protection on all my setups so im all about security aswell. hope ya like and enjoy the theme

lol, well im glad people like my theme, thanks to those who replied. whether it be right away or months later. i pretty much plan to just host this thing forever i guess

it has been downloaded like 160 times or so.

I have my own themes made from different wallpapers, screensavers, and sounds, but they're not real professional-looking.

I'd like to add my own 2 cents to this project, if you don't mind. I've made 2 (1 proper, 1 beta) Metroid Win7/Vista bootskins. Bootskins are the animation that plays while Windows is booting (on Vista it's that loading bar, on 7 it's those flying orbs).

The .gif preview is 1/3 the size and the actual animation only loops the last 3/7, the part where Samus is running with the Baby flying around her (the hatching scene only plays once).

IMHO it's awesome watching your computer boot to Wintroid, the animation is perfectly smooth, the movements are consistent, etc Patching instructions in the description, the patching itself is perfectly safe and can be undone.

I can also very much recommend installing GRUB as your bootloader and putting a pic of Samus in a Prime 1 Save Station (or similar pic) as the background on it. The analogy with selecting your OS for that session is just too good to not do it if you can.
