I just bought a Vita with Uncharted: Golden Abyss. The Vita is even better than I thought it would be. I like my 3DS but the Vita might become even better than it (unless Nintendo releases a new Metroid game for the 3DS ). The Vita just needs more good games. I bought Symphony of the Night on the PS3's store so it could be on the PSP's. superluigippk wrote:I've still been playing MGS VR Missions. I played a lot of Perfect Dark 4-player multiplayer AND IT WAS AWESOME! My 3 other brothers really enjoyed it. We probably like the multiplayer more than Goldeneye. I started playing Perfect Dark's single player and had mixed feelings on it and quit playing. But then I tried it again and now I love it, still not as much as Goldeneye.
Perfect Dark is my favourite FPS/multiplayer game of all time. I like Goldeneye a lot but Perfect Dark is superior in every way in my opinion. I played it regularly with friends and family for about eight years so my playtime in it is over 4000 hours.

I'm seven badges into Pokémon Black and, with the teachers' strike starting this week, I should have a bit more time for games now... I want to finish playing Mass Effect on PC and get a go at Symphony of the Night, which I'm running on an emulator for Wii, because Sony and Konami don't want my money.

I'm playing Heavy Rain, and... well... mixed feelings. The controls are pretty bad. The story is okay. The acting is awful.
I want to find out what happens, but if it doesn't pick up...

So long ago I bough Sanctum ... then didn't play it. Then I bought all the DLC.... So I caved to play it. Very fun FPS/Towerdefense. Might play it now and then.

I completed Metal Gear VR Missions and I'm still playing Xenoblade at around 38 hours.

Still playing Mario RPG, and I just did a semi-speedrun of Zero Mission. My clear time was 3:26 (I don't remember the seconds) and my completion was 61%. My last playthru before that one was 6:09, but with 100% completion.

I gave up on Heavy Rain and sent it back. It wasn't fun, it wasn't believable, it wasn't even a game. It had terrible acting and dialogue and... ugh.
Back to Xenoblade Chronicles, where I'm level 35 and just got to
Alcamoth, the imperial capital
. It's fantastic, and I'm glad to be back into it.

This might make you feel better: If the embed doesn't work, it's Mega64: Heavy RainI'm preparing to sell a small chunk of my shitty saturn games to go for Burning Rangers. The game is both rare and expensive, but if I can get a complete copy I KNOW I can make back twice what I paid for it. Besides, any game with music this awesome deserves a looking-at: SEGA has had a long streak of making some of the cheesiest lyrics, along with some of the most catchy songs.

A friend lent me Metal Gear Solid 4.
I don't think I'll be able to finish this game, and I'm not even a Metal Gear fan...

What's wrong with Metal Gear Solid 4? I've never played it, so I'm only asking rhetorically. It's in my GameQ so if its a waste of my time I'll remove it.
Played Xenoblade Chronicles for about 4 hours last night, and leveled up to 38. I'm in the
High Entia Tomb, trying to find Melia before Shulk's vision comes true
. I bought full Eryth Armor for all human characters, and not only is it the best armor I've found thus far, it's also completely bad ass.
I love this game. So glad I took a chance with it, as I've said before I've never played a JRPG prior to this.

Way too many fucking cutscenes. I haven't played a Metal Gear game in a long time but I don't remember them being this ridiculous. You go into an alley, it plays a cutscene, then it finishes and you exit the alley and it plays another cutscene, and they go on forever (it's like there wasn't an editor). I've put a few hours into this game, I'm in what I think is the second chapter and I'm just tired of it already. I couldn't even tell you if the gameplay is good or not, that's how intrusive the story is.

This game looked interesting but I wasn't sure how much depth it would have since it's so cheap. The game is actually a lot longer and much more difficult than I thought it would be. Such a good deal for $8.

Ugh. Is the story at least good? Are the cutscenes decent? That was my issue with Heavy Rain... for a game all about story and character drama, they picked a shit story with shit characters...

As far as Metal Gear (and the lengthy story it tells) goes, you either love it or you hate it for the most part. I for one love the series, but I also love watching cutscenes, so it's never been a problem.
In the meantime, I'm almost done with Tales of the Abyss,
I just killed Van
(as I mentioned in the "How's YOUR day" thread) and I must say that was moderately epic.
Going to make the endeavor of finishing Metal Gear Solid 2 (I say endeavor because after playing my two favorite games of the series, MGS 2 is REALLY underwhelming) and Peace Walker since I'm finally off for summer break.
Then, I'll get to Skyward Sword and The Last Story, which I'll more than likely play in that order.
