Greetings. Been lurking from time to time, and rather hesitant to post due to unfortunate tendency to get into arguments and the like. I'm hoping people here would be cool enough with my presence and a bit tolerant of my belifes, but eh, I digress, they are touchy issues and some people would rather throw accusations than take the time to have a rational debate.

Even so, well, I'm an amateur when it comes to debating and I probably need to learn to bring evidence to the table to back up claims.

Still, not quite my point in being here. I'm just here because I'm a bit of a fan of Metroid. (Not a super-fan who's obsessed with the franchise, but someone who has a mild fondness for the series.) I'm also here because I'd like to take a break from the arguments and just have some relaxing conversation, if that's possible. I may need a good friend to rant about my frustrations to, though. Preferably someone who isn't hateful/opposing of Christianity.

Anyway, this is 10MM here giving his extremely lengthy greeting. Any innuendo in regards to the nickname will not be tolerated, so a "Please stop with such jokes" will be the result of first jokes, followed by reporting such incessant juvenile mockery to the staff.

If I have a catgirl avatar, be forewarned that I'm a bit fond of catgirl characters. Also be forewarned that I am not female.

Lastly, I'm somewhat unusual. Beware that I have unusual quirks like uses of excessive formalities, some childish tendencies, and avatars featuring female characters.

Update: Just so you all know, as per my mention of my "beliefs", I spoke this out in hopes of people being more relaxed about me having such beliefs, and I have no intention of getting into arguments, debates, or flame-wars on the matter, because I'd like to be here as an escape from things like that. If ya wanna chat with me about my beliefs or the like, let's keep it in the PMs. Otherwise, let's not talk on the subject. Too many people get irritated over it.

If you took the time to read some old threads on here, the people on this forum are more than capable on debating rationally and respectfully, even on controversial topics, so I don't think you'll have a problem. I too have the unfortunate tendency to jump into any argument, since I generally like discussing. So if people can deal with me on here then you'll probably be fine.

If you took the time to read some old threads on here, the people on this forum are more than capable on debating rationally and respectfully, even on controversial topics, so I don't think you'll have a problem. I too have the unfortunate tendency to jump into any argument, since I generally like discussing. So if people can deal with me on here then you'll probably be fine.

Hello, my name is shdowhunt60 and I am an alcoholic. Oh wait, wrong place. Right, well my favorite Metroid is Metroid Prime 2, second is Super, and my least favorite is Other M, but let's not open that can of worms.

I also enjoy a lot of RPGs, pen and paper and computer. Especially the classic Fallouts, I don't care for Fallout 3 or any of the other Bethesda games. I also have several odd RPG books, but I currently am only playing DnD.

I suppose in essence I am a quintessential nerd.

Anyhow. Insanity Engine here, recruited through dA for the Bestiary project. I've always been a huge Metroid fan and though I've followed the MDb for a long while this is my first time making an account here. I never even knew there were forums! But I suppose it's all good.

My favourite Metroid game and the first game I ever remember playing, was Super Metroid, but I enjoy all the games equally. I enjoy blasting loud Metroid music from my car on hot summer nights.

Hello! I've been on the fence about joining for a while now, but I'm eager to join in and make some new friends!

I just love the Metroid games that I've played so far! Of them, my favorite (and first) is Metroid Prime just because of how great the gameplay and atmosphere is. My least favorite is Metroid Prime 2, mainly because it's a severe pain to try and find your way through the two worlds, though Sanctuary Fortress is still one of my favorite areas. I'm also a big fan of other Nintendo series like Mario, Zelda, EarthBound, and loads more!

Anyway, I think I'm going to like it here! Please be nice to me!
