Um...anyways back on topic....when you download a ton of Metroid music onto your phone's MP3 player and you skip all of the regular, mainstream music that pops up because you want to hear more Metroid Music!

....when you are afraid to turn off the lights at night because you are afraid that Chozo Ghosts are going to appear!

....when you walk through water in a swimming pool and think "must....find....Gravity...Suit....."

...when your 2 year old is constantly asking you to play either "Metroid little" (M1), "Metroid Super" (SM), or "Big Metroid" (MOM) because you play it constantly and she likes seeing Samus. (She also likes to call the games "Little Samus" for M1 and so on.)

....when various Metroid terms (i.e. Mother Brain, Metroid, Samus) are part of your 2 year old's extensive vocabulary, and she sometimes tells random people that "the big bad guys are gonna give Samus boo boos!" or "Samus is gonna get Mother Brain!"

....you refer to nasty, room-clearing farts as Power Bombs

....you always look for opportunities to make Metroid references

....when you really want to own a cartridge of M1 and SM "just because." (I already have them on the VC)

....when you secretly hate your husband cause he nailed Ridley and MB (in SM) on the first try and he's extremely new to Metroid. (Naw, I don't really hate him, but ya know?)

EDIT: When you play a Mario game and get the star and you see Mario flipping and killing goombas and such, you think "SCREW ATTACK!!".

Whenever you go through a lava level in a Mario game (particularly a newer one) you think of it as "Norfair on Acid".

Well something ive done is play metroid constantly for weeks on end.
Up to 8 or more hrs per day sometimes ill not even eat anything im so into it.

I tend to get obsessive like this with all metroid games.

The final part when Katniss, Peeta and Cato are atop the Cornucopia. Then the Crateria theme was hummed by me as Peeta judo threw Cato off the top of the Cornucopia.
