Hey.

I know to most this maybe lame, and likley most will think 'it took you how long?'

But i FAINLLY got 100% items on super metroid!

I used no cheats, walkthroughs or guides - All on my own, I feel sooo pleased with myself.

I managed to collect my final missile (I had been searching for 6 months) while I was on a lunch break in work!

Props to me, finally!

Craig
If you cant get past a boss, throw the pad at the screen as hard as you can. That will kill it!!

Just curious, which was the last missile pack you were missing?

grats craig :) It's never lame to finally realize the 100% of any game :) Lots of hard work, memorization, and practice. It took me quite a while to 100% my first game and I still play to try and beat my 1 hour 12 minute play through. :) Grats again :)

no straight speed run

That includes not using any cheats or anything like that. I know I could skip a couple of missile tanks that are 'on the way' to reduce time and a few other things but I always forget in the process of running :P

Same here. Super Metroid was my first Metroid game. Last night I finally found the last Missile Tank. I had a feeling it was located somewhere in Norfair (Norfair Depths). That's 18 years. -_-; So that means . . .

100% for Metroid: Zero Mission
100% for Metroid Prime
100% for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
100% for Super Metroid
100% for Metroid: Other M
100% for Metroid Fusion

 I still need to find the last missile in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and possibly that extra one.

I've done 100% on:

Super Metroid
Metroid Prime
Zero Mission
Prime 3
Other M

Yes I used guides, but in my defense I'm a married mother of two small children, and I played my first Metroid game on December 31, 2010. So I've played all of the games except Hunters within a year and a half. I'm not a very patient person. On subsequent playthrus I go without guides. I just did my second Prime 1 playthru without a guide and got 92% and never died once. Not even to Prime or Omega Pirate. :phazon: I never used a guide with Prime 3, I only glanced at it for boss info.

Oh, and to OP, congrats! I admire your patience and perseverance!

That's unbelievable. I used the players guide when I was 14 since a lot of the stuff is hidden in totally random places.
