This post is for people who are interested in sharing their Metroid Prime Hunters friend codes to play the online mode with other board members. Though the games are a bit old, there are still people who play them and are interested in playing online. Also, please feel free to mention if you are looking for beginner, intermediate, or expert players. (Incidentally, I don't recall if Metroid Prime Pinball could be played online, but I know it's got wireless multiplayer options... If it's got online play, we'll expand this thread to include Pinball friend codes as well

No, MP Pinball is not online, so I guess this thread will have to just cover Hunters until/unless they release the sequel.
I’m a little confused as to why you had to ice ZXVanX’s thread and create a new one, I thought the problem where mods couldn’t sticky existing threads was fixed.
Anyway, would it be useful to include the list of friend codes from the main Friend Code Thread? Metroid Prime Hunters AJBolt89: 2405 8574 8698 AMetroidGuy: 0430 5534 4456 Calico_Jack: 1847 8940 0702 CptTuke: 1718 6672 2854 e3samus: 0000 6762 5634 Ganondorf: 5068 7403 2348 Genie Metroid: 1203 2663 6568 Gonmon: 1890 4609 1747 MaiAriSquee: 0000 6782 2811 PhunkyPhazon: 3436 7171 2301 RWiloug: 4510 8406 1292 sharonlover: 3136 0026 6178 SimBen: 3694 3521 6631
All these people are apparently interested in playing online, since they shared their codes. They just have to clarify their skill level( for the record, I don’t think I have ever played a match, so probably beginner).

I felt a new thread was better than converting the other to a sticky because this way it starts with a description of what the thread is about rather than jumping into the middle of things.
Skill level is not necessary, but it's obviously something some players are interested in.

I just got Hunters, and I can't get my DS wifi to work. It says that the access point's security settings are not supported by the DS.

DS can only do WEP encryption. It’s not as secure, but most routers still support it if you choose to downgrade the security of your network.

Ok, how do I switch to WEP?

ok what you want to do is, type in your default gateway into an internet browser ie the routers ip address. If you don't know what this is you can find it by going to the windows run command and typing in "cmd" then once the DOS windows opens type in "ipconfig" then take that number and put it in Firefox or something. After that all your routers settings should open and look for WEP somewhere in there, most likely in a security tab or something.
Hope that helps

Welcome to MDb! But you must be a noob, because if you were actually phazon, your location would be set to either "Planet Phaaze" or "Corrupting you!".

Not a problem, if you don't have a WEP code, just simply leave that field blank when setting up the connection in your DS, test it and there you have it.

Yeah...The connection doesn't work.
It says my router's security settings are not supported by the DS.
