I've heard reports of spam bots still showing up despite the fact that I locked the manga thread from public posting. If you see ANY spambots or non-registered posters posting ANYWHERE on the forum with a post-date of today or later, PLEASE POST IT HERE:
The name of the poster Whether or not the poster was registered as 'guest' The date and time of the post The post topic A link to the post
I want to eradicate this problem ASAP. The more information you can give us, the easier we can help you.

YES SIR!
*Salutes Captain Commando*
I'm usually active on the board for 8 hours each day, so I (in a way) looking forward to helping with this. (although I never want to see the MDb spammed in the first place. Y'know.)
Hi, I'm Silver_Skree, and I make bad decisions!

May the Force be with us, team.
And may the Dark Side curse those bots...

Um, there's a new user called 080903k with some Japanese site for his Website, um. Just an advance warning, seems pretty spam-alicious.

OK, first off, that's Chinese, not Japanese (you may want to educate yourself on the differences.) And secondly, they have a valid email, and a Yahoo and ICQ account. So he/she's definitely not a spambot. Please try not to jump to conclusions when a foreigner may come on this forum.

Just wondering why they would choose to make their name a sequence of numbers.

Wow, are you really that close-minded or are you just uneducated/too young to realize?

I dunno, could it be... love of Metroid ?
That said, with a quick translation, jingke.org does appear to be major commercial website, rather than a personal one of any kind, so you may be right that it’s a spam account. Just because it has webmail and Instant Messsengers doesn’t mean it’s not a bot, or a live spammeer. But so far at least s/he/it hasn’t made any spam posts.

llh11456 seems to be a spammer or spambot, posting irrelevant link filled text in various topics.
Just look up all posts by user, and every one is clearly spam.
Edit: Similar case with micky0604, tring to googlebomb the target links, I think?
