Signature size limitations

For the convenience of your fellow board members, please refrain from adding images to your signature that are no more than 150 pixels in height (either individually or as a collection of images) and no more than 400 pixels in width. Larger images not only take a lot of time to load but they also needlessly fill up board space.

For these same reasons, please limit the number of lines of text in your signature to a decent length (not more than 5 lines, please).

Currently there are no software measures to limit this. However, if we find your signature is too big, we will notify you on this matter. If you fail to remove your signature, we will forcibly remove it and/or you from the board. So please be courteous and mindful of your signature size.

Well that has changed now ya? I had wanted to add a few more sprites to my sig but text comes up saying "your sig is to long". The sprites in are only 20x20...

That's probably just the letters and charachters making the URL for the img being more than 250.

No, your sig is too big and takes up too much space when you post.

Please resize it to something no bigger then your Super Smash Brothers tag. That size is about the max you can get away with.
