??? In all the English-speaking Smash communities I’ve seen, they just call it a “side smash”.

I believe he was mainly answering what Lazarius had said in the second part of his post where he says, "Is it just a smash attack with the C-Stick?"

The C-stick is all the smash moves of the standard "A" button attacks. So in a way, he was correct. You are correct though, with the "side smash" answer to Lazarius's first question, "Sorry, but what is a C-Side?"

You were both right, but the two of you were answering a different question it seems.

Yeah I've been on Smashwiki for a while, I understand most of the terminology. I just don't often hear smash attacks being called C-side / C-Up etc.

I'll share my thoughts on the characters and, yes, sulk some about missing people.

-Mario: I could care less for him, there are so many fucking Mario characters in the game to last a lifetime. On the very rare occasion that I use him (like if someone is forcing me to play Subspace) I find him to be way too heavy when he jumps. Guess I'm just used to playing him in SMG 1/2 (I do play them on occasion, you know).
-Link: I don't really ever use him, but I consider him beast.
-Kirby: My brother mainly uses him, when I do I see him as beast as well.
-Pikachu: PIKA! *thunder rains down*
-Fox: Please just tell your enemy and teammate to use Arwings or something for their Final Smash. I don't use Fox, but from what I can tell pulling off a zoom move is HELL.
-Samus: I love to use her both with and without the suit (wish without the suit could have been in Smash 1 and Melee) but I wish armor was faster. She better play like MOM in Smash 4.
-Zelda: I used to main her before I converted to troid. Sheik is especially beast.
-Bowser: Do. Not. Use. Super. Slow.
-DK: Down is beast but I can't ever win with it on Cruel Melee.
-Yoshi: Don't use.
-Peach: Also used to use her. BEAST. She is tired of being kidnapped. And I am tired of saving her whenever I feel like it.
-Ice Climbers: BEAST. Like I can't say how much. They are so cute.
-Pit: Somewhat beast, meh. He did just dust himself off, you know.
-Wario: Don't use.
-Ike: Don't use. Up move is hell.
-Pokemon Trainer: Don't use.
-Diddy: Don't use. What about a tag team with Dixie That'd be nice.
-Meta Knight: Don't use. Can't say. other than Peach is the one who deserves top on that tier list thing.
-Lucas: CLONE. Or near clone.
-Dedede: lol. I don't use, but he rips off his nemesis.
-Olimar: Don't use. Brother uses him though. "You killed Pickles the yellow Pikmin!"
-Ness: Can't say.
-Marth: BEAST. Don't use, but he is a beast.
-Luigi: Meh.
-Falcon: Need I say it
-Falco: Get. A. Different Final Smash.
-Lucario: Bring back Mewtwo for Smash 4 so they can have a fight to the finish!
-R.O.B.: This mechanical classic is too heaveh for me.
-G&W: Eh.
-Jigglypuff: CANNOT. TIME. REST.
-Toon Link: CLONE. Why not give his space to Midna so all the diehards will shut the hell up.
-Wolf: Same as Falco. Either change or cut and replace with non-Landmaster using Krystal.
-Snake: Not very sure of my final opinion.
-Sonic: Eh.

I care naught for Dr. Mario, Young Link (just make an alternate set of costumes like Wario for god sake) nor Pichu, but Roy was much more beast than Marth and Mewtwo, they took out a non-clone. Now all we need is Tom Nook so we can kill the crap out of him.

Oh hey, someone used the powers of phazon to resurrect this thread
My favorite characters are:

Kirby: is very agile, a bit hard to hit, has his copy ability, and can pull out a giant hammer to smash people with
King Dedede: minions are great meat shields, hits hard, has a really good grab, and also has a giant hammer
Samus: can fill the screen with a wall of projectiles that can be very hard to dodge
Ike: has amazing sp"ike"s and decent power though he is somewhat slow
Pit: can destroy anyone using projectiles, whether it be his opponent's or his own
and last, Toon Link: fast, small, has a good spike, great projectiles and was the first link to stab an actual human in the face and have it shown close up instead of nintendo trying to censor it

Well yeah, that's something I forgot to bring up. Toon Link is basically a lighter, agiler, more Asian cartoon-looking Link.
