I don't know if this counts for this thread, but...
Some days ago I found a video that was said to be the recording of some big conspiration about some dumb thing related to WWII. The video was showing something on fire and some weird text on it. It was nothing but just one more fake video trying to impress people, but then it started to repeat the weird text with metroid 1 soundtrack! I don't know the name of the song, in Metroid Metal its the "Item Room" song. That totally destroyed any chance of the video being real.

Hmm, considering it's a conspiracy video, it's probably the item Room Theme. Go grab an item on Metroid or super Metroid or save your game in Zero Mission. The song appears in other moments, too.

Yeah, the stupid bloopy sounds coming from House's GBA always kind of annoy me. It's so stereotypical gaming, and we've moved beyond that, thanks. As for what he said, well, it's Greg House, he was probably just being the smart-aleck he always is.

my dad was watching a movie called Jughead, and one of the guys said something about being on level 9 in metroid, at which point i walked in and he asked me, (since he knew i was a big metroid fan) "whats level nine in metroid?" well i think that we all know that well, there are no levels in metroid, just rooms......but if there are levels.....what would levle nine be? Tourain? Nofrair? if I would guess it would probably be Tourain......

In the science museum of Minnesota, someone made a big Metroid (maybe 4 feet across) out of colored Post-it notes on their window. I thought that was pretty clever.

The quote from Jarhead is actually going to be added to the MDb eventually; we just haven't gotten around to ripping the sound byte for it.
