Attachments allowed across ALL forums!

Postby Infinity's End » 06.21.09 8:15pm

Hear ye, hear ye!

All users on the MDb should now see that you are allowed to add attachments to your posts.

As stated in the MDb rules section,
No:
  • Pornography or otherwise inappropriate images
  • Internet meme spam images
  • Illegal ROM files, MP3's or other pirated material
  • Files larger than 5MB, unless otherwise authorized
  • Executables (programs) unless otherwise authorized

If we catch you doing this you will be warned and/or banned, depending on the severity.

IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT IT, IT PROBABLY SHOULDN'T BE POSTED.

If we see this feature being taken advantage of or overused in any way, we will promptly remove it.

EDIT: For those who are confused on how board attachments work, here is a 4-step tutorial for you!

If you have any other questions, feel free to PM an Administrator.
Otherwise, go nuts, and enjoy!

And the first hint of ROM (or otherwise illegal) file trade will result in an instant ban.

There was previously a limitation on a 2MB file size for attachments, but now that has been increased to 5MB. You may still have to turn the file into a .zip if it is something other than an image-based filetype.
