MOM Section Live!

The issues with spacing and interaction with adjacent elements have nothing to do with the Metroid's translucency. The simplest change which would improve the situation would be to raise the bar slightly (balacing the spacing relative to the text above and below), and stop it slightly short of the sides of the logo image rather than running it all the way to the edges (preventing the "tree growing from head" effect).

I like the way it's spaced. It just has that touch of wrongness, makes it hard to look a way.

Yeah we have thought about it many times but it takes a long long long time to do that -- something none of us have. And in the end, I don't think it's worth it to any of us. Jesse D is doing a lot of optimizing to the site's original code, but as far as a complete redesign, I doubt that will happen in the future.

Yeah. Even as anal as I am, I don't see that doing a full revamp of the site is that important, compared to the amount of effort which would have to go into it up front.

You know those classical pieces that you always hear in cartoons but you don't know the names of? See if you can find a few here.
