Everybody's afraid of something. What sends shives down YOUR spine?
Personally I have problems dealing with being really hot. And I mean really hot, especially in heavy clothing. My stomach starts to go wonky and I sometimes feel like I'm going to pass out. One other thing that I had problems with was insomnia. I would freak out at the though of laying awake all night long and not being able to sleep no matter what I did. Of course panicing only made things worse.
Last night we had a huge thunderstrom out here. The power was out for a solid two hours. Now I love a good thunderstorm but our dog totally freaks out. He won't stop panting and scratches at the carpet in front of walls like he was trying to tunnel under it. Drives everyone crazy.

You know, everyone has got quite stupid phobias, and I´m one of those. I´m completely afraid of wasps. I just see one and from my reaction, you could say it´s a monster from an outer dimension. And... I´m also a bit afraid of darkness. You see, I´ve got a bit of insomnia and a lot of imagination, so every time I see a shadow or hear a noise I´ve got to restrain myselves to not scream. Strangely, I´m not afraid for example of snakes, cockroaches, spiders, and other kind of distressing animals. Furthermore, I´ve talken quite a liking for them, in fact, I conce raised a family of slugs. They were just sooooooo cute...
And water. Oh, yep, water. even though I´m quite good at swimming, I´m constantly afraid of being drowned by some weird tide while I´m at the beach, or to be happen anything on teh swimming pool. When I was 3 years old, my omther was trying to accostume me to water, and then I leapt from her hands, and you know the rest. Since then, I haven´t been able to swim completly relaxed, and less trying to place my head underwater.

Do we really need this kind of thread? There was an exact same thread on the ScrewAttack forum and it ended up being flamed, spammed with pictures of vampires, spiders and sharks, and eventually locked.
I just hope that there aren't any assholes on our humble Mdb.

Besides some old (ridiculous) childhood nightmares, I'd have to say snakes. I'm perfectly fine if they're behind glass at the zoo, but I can't stand the thought of any snake, innocent, gentle or otherwise, slithering around anywhere remotely close to my living quarters. It's a shame, but it's happened twice, and I've had to use a plasma charge combo alternative. ridley-x wrote:Sub-zero wrote:Do we really need this kind of thread? It's not fear, it's my loss of hope in humanity.

Hasn't everyone lost hope in humanity?

Yes, yes! My plan is working perfectly! Now that this thread has gone in the direction of Bermuda's triangle it will certainly be locked up soon. This way nobody will find out about my arachnophobia... Did I just write that out loud?

I have partial arachnophobia, it used to be really bad. I still don't like spiders, but the small ones I see; I kill.

Are we brothers? Because I too dislike humanity. Last year I broke my fear of heights. I am breaking them one by one like Monk

How odd, I rather like humanity So much so my number one fear would be being alone.
