Yeah... looks like it's eBay for us non-preordering (or non-US) citizens... -_-;

Just a FYI, you can get the hat as the bonus for purchasing the game from the Nintendo World Store in NYC.
Its where I got my free MPT hat. It actually pretty sweet. and judging from the quantities that they have in that store, i'm sure that they would not mind giving them away for free if you just bought something from the store and asked nicely. they had a huge stock pile of them, guess no one wanted MPT :'(

I thought about calling around to see if Game Crazy had any extras, then maybe naming a price for them (that isn't as ridiculous as eBay auctions)

I want all those items!

I really want the hat... so cool! z:D

--Oh! Relating to this topic...

My parents are buying me a first4figure for my birthday.
My mom told me she ordered it a few weeks ago and today she just told me it's 'pending'.
Does that mean there verifying the information? Will I still get it? Is there a waiting list?
I'm getting nervous because last I checked the figures I wanted, are in limited supply.
((I asked for either a Adult Link or Zero Suit Samus, I couldn't make up my mind.))
Once it's gone, it's gone forever on the site. :'(

IDK, i feel that the First4Figures seem over rated. They've been using the same pose for the Gravity, Varia and now Phazon Suit. I would have much preferred that they at the very least used a different pose for each suit if I'm shelling out $100-$250 per statue. never the less, being the sucker i am for Metroid merch, I bought/ preordered all the statues except for trace (which according to F4F was taken off for a remake and pending approval from Nintendo).

@chozochild- I've seen the OoT Adult Statue in person, its very impressive, probably better than the Zero Suit one, unless you are getting the ZZS with light up base. Anyways, there are other sites selling F4F statues for much cheaper price if you don't mind not have matching # statues.

and on the topic of the pre-orders for Prime Trilogy, the poster is pretty sweet being a double sided poster. The T-Shirt i'll probably just keep in the plastic bag and forget about since it's too plain for my taste. The MPT hat is actually one of the best clothing related merch I've seen in a long time. Its made for some fairly good quality material giving it a smooth sway leather feel to it.

*Edit this was the displace outside the NYC Nintendo World Store used to promote MPT

Not my pic, but i did ask for permission to use it

That's really cool man, thanks for posting those shots.
I have a friend who lives in NYC and I asked him to go there and see if he can pick me up one of those hats.

I would like to get the hat, but now it's too late (my cousin already sent the game). I hardly ever use hats anway, so I guess the T-shirt will be of more use. As soon as the stuff gets here, I'm gonna frame my Super Smash Bros. Brawl, The Girl is a Sword and Metroid Prime Trilogy posters and hang them in the Wii room.

Not to mention there is a game somewhere between all that stuff.

I called both of the Game Crazy's in my area and one of them has one hat left, but they said I have to buy the game to get it... I already have the game so it wouldn't really be worth it ... unless I try to sell it back to Gamestop or something

No problem, though if you ask me, the promotion for MTP was very weak. Other less known titles received much better promotions at Nintendo World Store (NWS). I think that the FireEmblem DS game receive a contest where winners got a FE crystal, ExciteBot and the Wii port of DK Jungle beat which were both a complete failure sales wise received tournaments held in the store. Punch-Out Wii had an all day event to promote it including tourneys and prizes.
MTP an exceptional complication of games gets some half ass last minute display of nothing more than a few posters and tons of game-boxes thrown in the front display window and nothing else. They really could have done better and maybe had an event to promote MPT at the Nintendo World Store. It feels like Nintendo doesn't really care that much about Trilogy.

That's basically what I've been saying all along. We even have a thread about it. :/

It's nice that some merch exists, but it's very clear that Nintendo does not give the same amount of TLC to Metroid as it does their other beloved franchises like Zelda, Mario, and Pokemon.

Hell, if you want to compare how Nintendo approaches game releases check out what they are doing for Muramasa

I will most likely be checking this out and while I am down there I will nose around for any remaining Metroid merchandise.
