Changes to Prime and Echoes:
Wiimote controls.
Widescreen.
New fonts for cutscenes that are easier to read.
New HUD design.
Saves your scan data.
All audio seems to be remastered (there were mastering problems with the GC versions actually)
Prime:
Better textures.
You get the jump ball with the bombs (so now less of a need for bomb-jumping).
New SFX (no list yet, but ricochet sfx off Metroid Prime's carapace)
PAL log entries (no more escaping Metroid Prime).
Parasite Queen death sequence is now the PAL version.
Phendrana research lab is VERY DARK now once the power is cut.
Grapple Beam Cutscene from the PAL version.
Phazon Suit Cutscene from the PAL version (which everyone agrees is inferior to the US one).
Faster loading times on most doors (Chozo Cradle is still slow as hell)
Water effects removed (?).
Lava particles removed from Plasma Beam (?).
No heat vapor comes off the Power Beam's barrel (?).
Meta Ridley has ground pound and melee attacks after his wings are burnt off.
PAL Mission Final screen is used.
PAL ending cutscene is used.
Game is now dedicated to Mark Haigh-Hutchinson.
Voiceovers from the PAL version cutscenes are not used.
And is it just me, or is there now a pit in the Hydra lab that's been grated over?
Also - do Super Missiles take less ammo now? I seem to remember them using 10 in Prime, but they're using 5 now... I like that more
Echoes:
New SFX for key collects (I think these were first introduced in the Japanese version; there were multiple tracks changed).
Boost Guardian and Spider Guardian are now much easier.
Corruption:
Seeds explode after you beat the Guardian.
