I noticed that too, maybe it's because they wanted us to enjoy all the hard work they put into translating it.
I'm sure they'll post it later. Why do you want to know, to see how accurate it is? I'm just curious.

Oh, I was just curious to see one of the pages and was surprized to see that the link wasn't there. I thought adding the original pages would have been the easy part.

Yeah, we're typesetting Chapter 2 ATM. When that is finished, we will have scans of the Japanese versions as well.

I just noticed earlier yesterday the giant hole that Samus blasted through that Pirate who grabbed Joey. (You never see the shot, but her cannon is smoking in the next frame.) That's kind of graphic...

Yeah but it is geared to a younger crowd versus' ZM which was more toward the mid/late teen crowd.

HBPBHTHTPBHTH-! I didn't know this was posted! Reading it, I'm actually pretty amused! I want to smack Joey in the face a bit, but he's fairly tolerable, especially in the wake of Samus's COMPLETE awesomeness. The art is pretty nice, too. Can't wait to see how Joey reacts when he finds out Samus is a lady. :awesome:

Haha, I think we all are waiting for that moment. The "secret weapon" looks like it might be a Metroid, too.

Yeah, about that... Since I haven't flipped through the whole manga, I don't know if there's a scene like that. I started by assuming nobody knew Samus was a woman. This might cause problems if there's a different scene later on!

Also, I was looking at the Google-translated Japanese Wikipedia and saw that there is a Magazine Z Metroid. Kodansha published that, so does that mean that the origin story manga was in the magazine as well?
