Ever since first playing metroid I've had this fantasy of being able to stick Samus in every other game and kick it's ass with her. Suck ice beam Bowser! Eat missle ya zombie bastard! Have a power bomb Dracula! Stuff like that. ? Ok, granted it's partly a p0wnage fantasy but Samus is just so darn much fun to use too yanno?

Actually, I've read some pretty awesome crossovers for both Halo and HP. See:

Fusion of Destinies by Grey-X gets kind of bloated, but its very believable and loads of fun. Sylux, I think you in particular would appreciate Samus's characterization in this story. This is the HP one.

Transcendence by Sgt.Smoothy- again, believable, excellent characterizations and scenarios, and very solid writing, IMO. The author is a hardcore Master Chief fanboy and it shows (in entertaining ways) but I think Other M will give him a lot more material to work with, especially in the fight scenes. I'm actually excited to see what he comes out with after playing Other M.

So yeah, definitely give these a look-see.

EDIT: By "entertaining ways" I mean cool fight scenes. But he doesn't downplay Samus's power at all, it's just that thus far John gets a little more play. You'll see what I mean.

Oh damn, now I'll have to dig that video up...Aaaaand I can't find it right now. Suffice it to say it involved characters that were confirmed or speculated to be in Brawl all doing crazy shit.

The Megaman and Samus bit in question involved the two of them running into each other in a cave. They run up to each other, point their respective arm cannons at each other, and start shooting. Since it was a spirte video, however, it looked rather like the cannons were smashed into each other. After a minute of shooting, they stop, Megaman looks up and says, "Uh....did we just do it?"

Now I really wish I could find that video, the whole thing was patently ludicrous but funny as hell.
