The majority of album projects fail.

Though that's because they try something overly ambitious like "All three Metroid Prime games Album... Go!"

or "A four-disc re-imagining of Final Fantasy IX"


Big name stuff always eventually get released.

On the forum itself it says that all the WIPs (work in progresses) are due by May 1st. I'd assume a release for the album would be looking at around mid summer?

Oh, well damn. There's a few I see on there that would be really cool. Mario 64 for example. Also that Mega Man X one looks very ambitious so maybe that won't happen.

I don't mean to sound like a fanboy but I've liked most of OCRemix's projects, they've even gotten industry professionals to participate (I think the VGMix guy was also in the industry once).
