My first memory was a dream I had when I was like 3. My dad and I were wandering around, and then we met my mom for the first time. Creepy, i know.
So what are you guys' first memories?

Re: First MemoryI was very little at the time, maybe 5 or younger. I remember crawling toward a glass table and looking under it, then suddenly I hit my head really hard. That's the end of what I remember. We still have that glass table though... it's a small coffee table quite low to the ground so I know I had to be quite young to crawl under and hit my head. It's funny now, but when I was younger I must have been crying like mad.
Also when I was a bit older... I still have a memory of not quite being tall or big enough to see the whole the car window. So as we drove, I just remember seeing telephone poles speed by against the bright blue sky and nothing esle. |

Re: First MemoryOne of them is getting myself trapped in a car trunk when I was younger, although that may be me filling in a story my parents told me about myself from my perspective.
The first memory I'm sure is my own is playing dress-up with a neighbor of mine named Emily. I've really always been a ladies man. |

Re: First MemoryI remember crawling out of my crib when I was really really little.
I also have this weird extremely vague memory of a group of people wearing red cloaks and hoods gathered around a well in some kind of dark room. A dream? I have no idea. It's creepy, to say the least. ![]()

Re: First MemoryWhen I was 2 years old, I attempted to murder my 1 year old sister. My earliest memory.
I was too young to know any better, and she only survived because our mother walked into the the room while I was shoving a pillow into her face. Sooo... after I caught the beating of a lifetime, everything was fine. When somebody tells me he doesn't believe in violence, I punch him in the face to inform him of its existence.

Re: First Memory
Wow, you were an evil little child My first memory was back when I was probably 1 or so. I remember being in my crib, I woke up and looked out the window (one of those windows that's up near the ceiling and small, not a big mid-wall window) and saw my parents out there on the roof, watching my brother and I. Years later I asked about it and they confirmed that they did do that a few times.

Re: First MemoryLets see, my earliest memory was of when we lived way the hell away from where we currently are. It was Halloween, and my mom was handing candy to a guy who was in what I think was a Star Trek costume, I remember being frightened.

Re: First MemoryEarliest earliest is some vague thing with me sitting in the living room and my mom talking to my sister. Next earliest, my third birthday, we went to the zoo. Back when I could go to zoos without animals escaping.

Metroids are not to be used for target practice. Friends don't let friends massacre civilians, Jim. |

Re: First MemoryMy first memory is from 5 or 6 years ago, though I don't remember what it is. Nothing before that was very notable.
Don't be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams.

Re: First MemoryI do have a short, breif image of me standing up in my crib at night for some reason. At least I'm fairly certain it was night. It was really dark and the lights were off but it could have been ike 6:00 pm.
The first memory I have that is very clear goes a littles something like this: My little brother and I in our playroom in the basement playing Super Mario Bros. 3. We were on stage 1-6, when my grandfather walks into the room and tells us that our garage is on fire. We stood on a big toybox that was shaped like a barn to see outside. Unfortunatly since the window was at ground level all I could see were a bunch of fireman boots and firehose. I couldn't see the garage at all so I went back to playing Mario. Actually that may not be my earliest memory because that room was an addition to the house and I can remember a time from before we had it put in. I also have memories off watching a show called "Super Ted" with my best friend from kindergarten before he moved away. One other memory I have that may have come before that one, I'm not sure on the chronology. Anyways, I'm watching T.V. and I come across one show in particular. Two dogs are trying to stop a pair of astronauts from taking off in a space shuttle. Odd thing is the astronaut's suits did not fit them, it's like a five year old was wearing one and let most of the material get dargged along the floor. Also, everytime the dogs did anything it was accompanied by a very familiar set of sound effects, especially when they jumped. Anyway the astronauts took their suits off and I immediatly recognized two of the Koopa kids from SMB3. Then the two dogs got turned into Luigi and one of the kings from the same game. Then It hit me. They had made a Super Mario Bros. T.V. show. I was so excited I told my mom. At this point I still had trouble telling time and identifying days of the week so to make sure I didn't miss any episodes she taped them all. Except, oddly enough, the dogs and astronauts episode. To this day I still have those episodes on tape alongside the second season of Captain N, becasue they were part of an hour block together. 15 minutes of Mario, 30 minutes of Captain N, 15 minutes of Mario. Everyone dies. It is the final and only lasting Justice - Boba Fett
