Additional Super Smash Bros Brawl info

Nintendo's (Sakurai's) official website has recently been updated, as I'm sure most of you are aware. It's gradually going to unveil more of itself as many of the sections are still dimmed out, but it's exciting to see this thing come together.

Anyway, here's the biggie, directly from the website:
Planned for 2007 Release

I would of course advise taking this with a grain of salt, depending on how seriously Nintendo takes online gameplay with this thing. But still, that's encouraging news.

The Wii could really hold its own this holiday season if we get both Prime 3 and Smash 3 this year.

Oh god, I couldn't imagine the next Smash Bros without online!!! My two sweetest players are Adult Link and Samus. After that, Roy and Pikachu are pretty damn good.

It'd be cool if you could download updates via wifi, like additional characters or stages, perhaps a trophy.

Will there even BE trophies? That'd be a lot of modeling!

Downloadable content would be really tough to pull off with only 512 megs of internal storage. And the thought of buying additional SD cards makes me cringe.

Oh, man. WiFi REALLY needs to be on this one. I play as Samus, Young Link (not this time, he won't be here!) and sometimes Luigi. I also think that once you use the final Smash you switch to Zero Suit Samus

The idea for the boxes look pretty cool. I wonder if on the Metroid stage we'll have Metroid-esque item boxes, like from Prime or such.
