Maybe this isnt the best place to ask but..........In Green Brinstar, you go down the elevator and go down to the last door on the right to continue on to the main area where you go down to get the charge beam. In that big room when you first walk into it theres this door all by itself under you. Its to the left of some Grapple Beam hooks and is completely closed off. I cant figure out how to get there!!!
Help? Im trying to explore where i haven't been. I usally just try and beat my 2 hours and 46 minute time...now i feel like exploring.

You don't go into that door, you come out of it. Access that area by laying a power bomb above that door and then heading left.

If it's the door I think it is, then yes. It's a one-way door.

Thanks for the encouragement, Vesko. I am very proud of my accomplishment, and hope to smash it someday. I am aiming for a sub-2hr. time WITHOUT TOOL ASSISTS. (Except Rerecord.) I am also a firm believer in playing the game as it was meant to be played, as it adds an element of skill to the table. The only sequence breaks I ever do are shinesparks and wall jumps. No mockballs/speedballs, beam glitches, or any other glitch in the game. I also play it in ZSNES, but I play it at normal speed, with no fast forwards or slowdowns. I do rerecord, however, I didn't do that at all when I did my 02:16@100% run (not possible in Wii VC). I wish Wii Virtual Console had a screenshot tool for posterity. Until then, my shitty-ass phone camera will have to do.

I just finished my first any % speedrun of super, Beat in 1:10.. If I could master the quick-charge speed boost outside the wrecked ship.. I could cut down on my time tremendously, (not having to go after the grapple beam and all the time that takes) probably getting under an hour, since I was at 1:00 when I saved at the entrance of Tourian...
My 100% runs usually net me at around 1:50~2:00...
I love my SNES/RetroDuo..

The RetroDuo? That's the one that plays both SNES and NES games, right?

Yes it is! Though sometimes it glitches up and screws up my controls and buttons, making games unplayable. ;-;

Yeah, that's why I always preferred the originals. Although I'm one to talk, my NES is some sort of pirated keyboard thingy.

I've always wanted to get one of those things. Not sure why since emulation is actually a better option, but it would be neat to have anyways. Do they break down a lot? How much do they cost?

I've never had mine actually break down, but the Zapper that comes with it did break. As for the cost, they are pretty cheap. I'd say about $15. One more thing, I'm not exactly sure if they actually run NES games. All the games for it we have here are pirated games themselves, but from the size of the slot and all I think it should run all of the games. EDIT: http://www.gamersgraveyard.com/reposito ... s-A-M.htmlScroll down to the GameStar thingy, that's the one I have.
