My artwork

Postby Nathan92 » 03.18.09 4:26pm

I'm new here, wanted to show some art. Some of you may have seen a couple of my things. My brother, Phobos-romulus showed a couple of mine.

Here's my gallery:
http://deimos-remus.deviantart.com/

My most recent Metroid piece- done in 2008, I think her face looks a little strange, and her gun is a little bent. I might recycle the pose, and make a better drawing later.

Here's an attempt at a realistic screenshot type thing.

Here's an older piece from 2007, and I have improved a lot since.

As you can see, I am particularly fond of the first game from a design-aspect.

Also working on some new things, so there will be more to come!

I liked it, seems a bit unusual (specially the "realistic" one - don't know exactly what you meant) in a good way.

He did massacre a large amount of the goomba population.

I'm currently working on a Justin Bailey samus redesign, and another m1 picture with samus in her armor.

I also want to draw somethings from m2, but I don't have many ideas.

Nobody ever draws stuff using the designs for the original Metroid, It's all based stuff from the 90's up till now. I say keep working on making your stuff look different from everything since Metroid II and take Samus and co. in the opposite direction, away from Super and beyond designs. Also, maybe you could make it so Kraid doesn't look like the guy from Dinosaur comics.

XD "Why visit Australia when it's closer to visit outer space?"

I hadn't noticed how much Kraid looks like Panel 3 (or 5) T-Rex.

I've gotten that same comment before about the dinosaur comics, and I did not base the pose off of them. I just looked at a t-rex illustration i found, which in turn, the dinosaur comics were probably based on.

Here's a w.i.p Shot of a samus I'm currently working on.

Thanks! :D

Here's a W.I.P of my justin bailey samus, I'm in the process of inking it. I wanted to imitate the style of Frank Cho's faces, because I really like how he does his.

Would an admin please delete the double post? That one is taking out a lot of space.

Anyway, really nice work. There always are stuff to fix, but they're generally very good. My favorite was that last armored one. This last Justin Bailey one made me wonder... Would the Arm Cannon work without the rest of the Suit? Where would the energy come from?

Actually, your long time as an admin has made you forget some stuff. After another post comes by, you can't delete the previous anymore. We need an admin to do it.

Here's a new justin bailey Samus, I like this one a lot better than the older one, that one was kind of ugly.

That's pretty sweet! Looks about right for Samus, too. Muscular and athletic rather than model-fragile.
