Some useful and interesting tricks and techniques to help Samus traverse SR-388!
Very similar to the Mid-Air Jump I found in Metroid, but it works a little differently. The difference between this one and the original is that here, you must jump IMMEDIATELY after pressing up, whereas in Metroid I, Samus is in a standing position when you press up from a ball and remains there until another button is pressed. In Metroid II, Samus is able to jump from a kneeling position, which seems to be what she is in for just a split second when UP is pressed while in a ball.
- Roll into a ball
- Roll off the edge of a platform
- While in the air, press UP and IMMEDIATELY press the Jump button
- Samus will jump from her position in midair.
- When you have the Spring Ball, roll into a ball and jump into the air
- Press UP and IMMEDIATELY press Jump
- Samus will jump from her spot in the air.
